@GordonKnight,
You said it should be digital ONLY. Your answer to Romudeth doesn't explain why it should be digital ONLY. Emphasis on 'ONLY'. Why not both physical and digital?
Yeah. I mean, who wants choice anyway!? :p
Activision are the worst publisher bar none. They're also the only publisher I won't buy games from. Activision are nothing but business; they have zero care for consumers, they're the definition of a soulless corporation.
I just don't understand why it's always EA getting all the flack; Activison are much worse than EA.
Why? Pre-order with Amazon. It costs nothing and you're free to change your mind right up until the product ships.
I wouldn't do it with a game that I'm unsure of, but I see no reason not to do it with a game that I know I'm going to buy anyway.
5 dollars? Preorder with Amazon; it costs nothing. :)
Fuck Activision. I own over 300 games, and not one is published by Activision. And I intend to keep it that way. :D
@bixxel
Yep, never thought about that. There are exceptions though like Uncharted 2. :)
There WAS a secret combination... kind of.
If you plug the Sonic 1 cart in, you'll get the "No Way" screen, just like any other unsupported game. Normally, you can press A,B,C together to play a random Sonic 3 special stage that is unique to each "unsupported" cart.
However, this is different in Sonic 1: Instead of getting a single special stage, you can play millions of randomly generated Sonic 3 Special Stage combinations. It even...
This is really interesting. I would have just expected to get the "No Way" screen after connecting the second cart, just like you would when connecting any other unsupported game.
I'd love to know the explanation for what happens when doing this.
"The X1 has the best controller"
That's VERY debatable.
Yes, this. Assassin's Creed will always be a single player experience to me.
Nope. Amazon already have it available for pre-order.
The article says nothing to support the assertion stated in the headline.
@lelo, indeed we do. Time is by far my limiting factor when it comes to gaming, not money. It's not such a bad situation to be in. :)
Can't wait to play this again; 60FPS will definitely make it worth it!
It is there, but I had to search for it to find it (on PS4, Europe).
Anyway, I bought it, finished it and got every trophy in under two hours. I played this game way too much back on the Amiga. :)
Also out on PS4 and Vita today too on a Cross Buy deal. :)
No really, I'm fine with it. I've tried playing both of those games in multiplayer and I simply didn't enjoy them that way. Single player is where I get most enjoyment from those games.
And Super Mario 3D World is messy and vague with its multiplayer. The game isn't even clear whether you're supposed to be playing in co-op or competitively. I assumed it was co-op until the game declared a winner at the end of each level, but if you're competing, yo...
2D Mario is a primarily single-player experience anyway. The multiplayer aspect of the NSMB series has always been more annoying than fun in my experience, so I'm totally fine with this.
Except it's not available, because I just went to buy it and it's most definitely not on the store.
I'd suggest Big Rigs, but I'm not even sure it qualifies as a "game". ;)
