I'll buy whatever is cheapest, which usually means physical.
So getting an assist is like getting something better than you were promised? I don't think this analogy works very well.
I despise F2P as much as just about anyone, but illegal? Really?
I just love seeing the kind of ignorance as demonstrated by spacedelete. "Let's never try anything new because how could it possibly be better than what we already have!?".
spacedelete is probably still playing music with a cassette Walkman because it plays music "perfectly fine", so he doesn't need gimmicks like an iPod/MP3 player or a smart phones.
Lenses that cost more than the entire headset itself are better than those in the headset? Colour me shocked!
Also, FOV is very important and these lenses also look like they won't leave room for glasses.
The difference between "First on PlayStation" and "Console Debut" is the latter can mean simultaneous PC release, whilst the former means it will be on PS4 before everything else.
I prefer Vita mainly because it's cheaper to own when factoring in the overall cost including games, accessories, etc. Also, the stereoscopic effect of the 3DS is wasted on me since I can't see it, and I just love the look of the Vita's OLED screen.
The 3DS may have more great games, but I don't do enough portable gaming to exhaust all the great games I have on the Vita anyway. If portable gaming was my main source of gaming, I would probably prefer the 3DS....
Maybe the entertainment industry should offer an alternative to piracy before punishing the pirates for downloading stuff that they don’t have legal access to?
It’s baffling that I still can’t legally purchase, download and play TV or film content on my Linux-based XBMC system. Until they fix that, piracy is the only choice for people like me.
Thanks, glad to hear it. I'll pick up the game at some point soon then. :)
Were the framerate issues in Unity ever fixed? I wouldn't mind getting the game if I weren't concerned about the technical performance.
(PS4 by the way)
4K isn't going to cut it. Sony has all the best games coming out, and that's all that really matters.
This console will (rightfully) go the way of the 3DO, CDi, Jaguar, etc.
I saw it last year in Amsterdam; fourth row center seat. Absolutely amazing experience, especially hearing Journey played live! I'd absolutely jump at the chance to go again.
I really hope they make this into a full game and release it in the west. I really want VR to be more than just the shooters, racing, horror games, etc. that we have today. I want VR to be about having different kinds of new experiences.
Have you actually played Senran Kagura? There's no nudity in that game because everything is censored.
Also, I'm not even sure it should be illegal anyway, since there are no real 15-year old girls involved. If you start censoring computer renderings, drawings, etc. then you're quickly moving towards "thought-police" territory; you're effectively imposing restrictions on people's imaginations (The UK actually implemented this, it's one of t...

True yes, but I'm guessing Dan50 is referring to the fact that all major retailers refuse to sell AO-rated games on any platform, including PC.
Of course, digital distribution gets around this problem quite nicely (I'm not sure if Steam allows AO-rated games though?)
I actually own three of those: Tokimeki Check-In, Snow Drop and Critical Point Limited Edition (only 300 copies were made!).
They're decent hentai visual novels, especially the latter, but there are definitely better ones out there. It's a shame modern OS's won't run any of them; I bought them way back in early 2000's and haven't played them in over a decade.
Just what I was thinking. Going by this score, the PS4 version will probably score 105/100. And the PC version will score 126/100. ;)
The issue with Hololens was the faked wide field-of-view and opaqueness of the image. What was shown is not representative of what an actual user will see.
