In terms of bang for you buck so as to speak, the PS3 is the clear winner, to avoid any fanboy backlash I'm talking hardware functions right out of the box, I wont get into games. WiFi, Bluray and free online multiplayer for £300 is a great deal in my opinion, one that can be made even sweeter if you look around for bundle deals.
Can an Xbox fanboy please clarify what makes a game a flop? I consider a game to flop based on a combination of game quality and sales. But now you claim a game flops depending on the colour scheme it uses? So games such as Viva Pinata and Banjo Kazooie are some of the greatest games the generation?
You feel sorry for PS3 owners because SONY laid people off and cut money to an outdated company sector? If I feel sorry for anyone it's you.
Are you aware stand alone Blu-Ray players exist Mr Fanboy?
So I guess you will be stuck with DVD then? Or even better HD-DVD! Oh.. wait a sec...
I don't like to be this cynical or judgemental, but I suggest an increased dose of sunlight and exposure to people. People outside by the way. You know, in the real world.
'only'? The price of a console is one of the key selling points, its quite a big 'only mistake' to make.
How many more of these "Will(Insert console/company name) fail in 2009?" articles do we have to go through -_-
This is a poor article with little explanation of why they chose each game. I also disagree with some of the choices, MR:PR was hardly dissapointing, it simply expanded on the 1st like it was supposed to. Haze and Too Human were undoubtably bad games, but Civilization Revolution and Red Alert 3? those games both earned respectable review scores.
Perhaps the creator of this article lacks the mental agility to succesfully play a strategy game, as this article clearly shows he/she ...
You are right Power of Green, the PS3 indeed isn't on a par with the 360 in terms of hardware, its superior.
Woah there Kingfury, even for a fanboy thats a bit over the top, you are one angry person.
Dammit, I was enjoying this game however with news of it not selling well, i guess that's not possible anymore
/sarcasm
Sitdowndroid, allow me to help speed you down your inevitable path to one bubble.
I was thinking PS3 owners were too busy enjoying this excellent shooter to give a dam what you or any other fanboy says.
I picked this up the day it released in the UK and haven't stopped playing it. Each part of the game (SP, Co-op and Vs) are so complete and deep they could each sell for £40 each. I wasn't a fan of the first resistance at all, but this for me is one of the best games this year, on a par with MGS4, Gears 2 and Fallout 3.
quick question, how does Blu-ray tie into a social app? I'm intruged.
Not really though, Halo 3 remains the best online experience, for me at least, so far this generation. Gears of War 2 is great online as is Forza 2 and PGR 4.
I will give you a bubble, this time...
In future try and be more subtle about giving props to anything X360 related.
B-
Thats been around for a while now with the NXE on Live, hopefully SONY make it just as easy to use as the 360 version.
Is this some sort of parallel universe?
Your admission surprises me Giant Enemy Crab, although I feel you have been unfairly put in the bracket with idiots such as PP and Power of Green who display feverant fanboy denial in the face of blatant fact.
Anyhow, bubbles all round
