Lol well when I can watch a guy play the entire game I think I'll tend to believe what he says and what I see with my own eyes compared to what some random guy on n4g says. Once he post his walk through and shows how he's been playing it, I'll be more than happy to believe him.
Here's another thing that makes me not want to believe this guy. Here's a comment from yesterday
"I got it last night. The entire time I was playing I couldn&...
That's fair, we've all got our opinions
Hmmmm...who to believe...a random guy commenting on n4g or a video of the entire walk through of the game? Tough choice.
He didn't do a speed run though, didn't even rush through. Just because he didn't sit there and spend a half hour looking through every room doesn't mean he sped through it. He played just like any average person playing would play through it
were barely out of the first year and DC, the order, and ryse have some of the best graphics ive ever seen. i think ill be alright with the hardware for a while.
and? so DC automatically looks better because its 1080p? up until DC came out, ryse looked better than any other 1080p game.
im not saying one or the others better. its just my personal opinion that they're right there with each other, it'd be hard definitively picking one. but they are the 2 best we've seen so far
I think it's pretty obvious that it launched too early. Hell, the xbox didn't even have a controller battery power bar lol we coudnt delete game saves and a lot of other basic things. The overall ui runs a whole lot smoother now too. They had to get it out to combat the ps4 launch or who knows how big the lead would've been.
i guess theres 6 ppl that didnt believe were getting the normal version lol
@soap
as logic wins said, you don't need to buy the game to enjoy it. if a game offers no replay value and not a very long story or much gameplay, i don't feel its worth $60 IMO.
also, you don't find it a little weird that you're here bringing up ps2 games to compare it too? i mean those are some pretty old games your talking about. sure they're good games, but you don't think we should have longer, more in depth experiences 10+ years ...
i thought it was decent, but the MP was surprisingly a lot of fun.
ive got a ps4 and i agree with it. DC is right up there with ryse but they're neck and neck, could be either one really.
looking your recent comment history its safe to say you don't have an xbox so going off your logic, you can't really have an opinion about this either.
I find it amusing when sony fanboys come into xbox articles trying to downplay everything
Wow 5 hrs to finish it and only 1.5-2.5 worth of gameplay. Kind of making me nervous now. He also mentioned that in the first 4 chapters only ~35% was actual gameplay.
Good point. I remember a lot of ppl that are in these order articles defending it, saying that TF should've been $30-40 because of its content and being MP only. I personally got over 50 hrs out of TF (not even a lot compared to most people I know) which, going off all the things we've heard so far, is more than just about anyone will get out of the order.
BTW before ppl freak out I'm not saying anything about the content of either game, just that there's a l...
Bioshock, you mean the game that came out nearly 10 years ago? And MGS whos most recent game came out around the same time. I don't like all the hate this games getting but the fact that you're comparing it to such old games kind of hurts your argument IMO. I'd think that in 2015 we wouldn't still be comparing games to one's from 2007
A little disappointing but whatever, I can always trade it in when I finish if there's not much replay value. The story still looks great and it'll be nice having an easy platinum
Eh whatever. I'll still play it. Seems like it's a little on the Short side but what are you gonna do? The story still looks good. I've been going all digital lately but I'll probably grab the disc incase there isn't much replay value.
Anyone know how long all the cut scenes are together? I see ppl saying that he skipped them in the comments but you can't skip them so the cut scenes are definitely added in the ~5 hrs it took him

Here's a list of the sales
Ya I get what you were saying. I was just saying that if the game was ~5 hrs long then I think people would have the right complain, that's way to short for a SP only game. I wouldn't Wana pay $60 for a game that I'll finish in a few hrs. Now that it's starting to come out that it's 10+ we probably won't hear much about it.
I'm buying it too, I've only seen a few scenes here and there. That doesn't change the fact that this guy I originally replied to is making stuff up lol
