lol this is supposed to be one of the big 3 exclusives of the year, what are you talking about. its been high up on the pre order list for as long as i can remember. theres tons of hype for this game.

sorry but 7.5 is not a GREAT score. its average. look at how games score these days, if you ever see a game score in the 60s or below (which is rare for a AAA game) it automatically throws up huge red flags because the general consensus is that 60s is a pretty low score. not to mention 50s which you seem to think is average. apparently nearly every AAA game this gen has been great if were going by your scoring.

i agree that people should ignore single reviews like this, but a lot can be taken away from reviews as a whole. if nearly every review agrees that a games around an 80, theres a very good chance its a pretty good game. if everyone scores it around a 65-70, good chance its below average, but not bad. go to metacritic and look at the overall critic reviews, i personally agree with basically all of them.
I wouldn't call it bad or good. Average basically. Whoevers saying 5 is average that's just not true. When do we ever see average games get rated in the 50s

He played it like a normal game. While he moved through some parts quicker he also hung around and looked through other areas more. You say I'm here trying go paint a negative light when literally the only worry I've had about the game is the length which is a valid concern IMO. There was a lot more hate than just the pre launch issues. What about when 6 months into the generation we'd have weekly articles about how ms should drop xbox and how they were finished this gen? How about the constant troll articles about xbox only being able to hit 720p? Or the loads of titanfall and ryse hate articles. Hell, people begged for them to drop kinect and when they finally did we even had a bunch of troll articles about that. Just about every mov...
I'm still not quite sure what a speed run has to do with a normal play through of the order? Don't you think it's a little worrisome that you have to say "hey look, this game can be finished at its absolute fastest pace in the same amount of time or a little faster than a normal playthrough on the order" and please don't tell me the order gameplay was a speed run because it wasn't at all
exclusives always get more attention than multiplats but Ive never heard of beating wolfenstein in 5 hrs. According to howlongtobeat the speedrun on wolfenstein takes about 6 1/2 hours which is an hr more than a normal playthrough in the order is rumored to be (going off the only gameplay video we have now).
You had to hear about how ryse was great? Hahaha this is the type of stuff that really shows makes me realize you guys are so disconnected with what goes on with xbox. No wonder most of you think only playstation games get hate, you've got no idea what even goes on with xbox games. Ryse got a crazy amount of hate. It got hated on for everything from qtes, to story length, to voice acting, and just about everything else in the game.

It's not the same story. This one's saying some of the games went on sale early and the one you linked is just a list of the games from before the sale started.
Demo mightve saved me $40. It's pretty fun but not worth the price tag imo. Maybe once it drops down to about $20
Lol I've hardly seen anyone say the game sucks. The most I've seen is a couple saying it looks boring, but they're definitely in the minority. If you think people wondering if a game is 5 hrs long is hating on it then idk what to tell you
The guy that beat it in 5 1/2 hrs said it was 3 hrs of cut scenes, 1 hr of qtes/interactive cutscenes and 1.5 hrs of gameplay so the 4 hrs of cutscenes is probably about right.
They explained their vision just fine imo. They've said for as long as I can remember that it'd be a heavily cinematic, story driven SP game and that's exactly what it is. I don't think there's any confusion about that. The only concerns I've seen (aside from obvious trolls) is that it's a little short. The first review said it was about 7.5 hrs though which is fine to me, we'll see what other reviews say about length when they come out.
