I don't get why watch dogs got so much hate, I actually thought it was a decent game.
Assassin's creed on the other hand. I get why that got a lot of hate at launch. I didn't buy it until a while after release (and after some patches) and I don't think it's that bad of a game either.
Havnt touched the crew though.
depends how you look at it. i was in a article the other day and a lot of people were saying 5/10 is average (i don't agree with it) so if thats how the reviewer looks at it then this games slightly below average.
as to your comment about how its what the dev wanted, what does that matter? If i don't like a game I'm not gonna give it a 10/10 because the dev wanted it like that. thats not my fault or my job to figure out what they wanted. most people decide a game...
to be fair, you can't really judge the story off 5 chapters. i was loving the game and would've given it about a 8.5 through chapter 7 or so, and then it kind of fell of for me.
4s pretty low. id give it a 6.5-7
The game really is ridiculous looking. There were times where the cutscene would come to an end and I'd be sitting there because I hadn't realized it was back to the gameplay yet. It's pretty amazing.
Yeah stop complaining about the price and just accept whatever the devs give us lol. Great attitude. Soon we will be paying $60 for games like outlast and walking dead because of this attitude. We already basically are with the order. The only reason people defend this is because it's an exclusive. If it was a multiplat like outlast nearly everyone would be saying something about the content.
If a dev released a 2 hr game for $60 do you think people would be defending it ...
It's been at the top of the preorder charts for a long time now
Lol that's not what the guy was saying that I replied to, at all. He clearly said "Lol looks like my prediction was true about Bloodborne will be the next target after the media succeed to downplay The Order." As in the media (this article) is trying to downplay bloodborne like they did with the order. My reply was to show that he isn't downplaying bloodborne and even said he really enjoyed it.
It should be priced like those games then. That's the problem that most people have, the game just is not worth $60. Most of the criticism the games gotten is about lack of content, at a price point of about $30, that wouldn't have been a problem. Plus the games focused basically only on the story, and the thing didn't even have a good ending. I still don't understand how they thought it was a good idea to let it end like it did. This game was supposed to be one of the bigges...
It helps to read the article. It's saying bloodborne needs to do well leading into e3 after the disappointment of the order. He's not hating on it at all, he even talks about how much he enjoyed bloodborne when he got to try it
I'd have to disagree. When a game that was supposed to be one of the top 3 games this year scores a 65 average on all its reviews, I'd say that's a bit disappointing. Ryse scored around there, 62 I think, and that's been considered a disappointment since day one. That was also a launch game which should get more slack than a game released over a year after launch.
Did you even read the article? Or are people already getting their victim cards ready for bloodborne? All he's saying is bloodborne needs to do well after the disappointment of the order. He says in the article that bloodborne was one of his favorite games at pax prime.
"I loved my time with the game at PAX Prime and although it was a challenge, I found it and Until Dawn to be my favorite PS4 games at the show. The fluid motion and brutal close range combat was a re...
Yeah its a pretty good game. It should've been about $30-$40, at $60 there just isn't enough there. The shooting was great, guns looked and felt nice and powerful. The cover system was very well executed. I really thought I was gonna love the game until about half way through and the game really started dragging on. For me atleast. Not only were there too many cutscenes but the cutscenes themselves were too long. I felt like half, if not more of the time spent playing the game was wat...
Gears has a whole lot more content than the order has.
I beat the order yesterday in about 6.5-7 hrs and don't really have much of a reason to go back at all. The story was pretty good, ending was terrible, there's virtually no side quest (aside from some after thought collectables, I wouldn't really consider those replay value unless you're a trophy hunter) , no coop, nothing aside from a decent story . The order would've been a great game if they sold if...
yeah i was a little let down by those. they run at you, you press x, they run away, rinse and repeat until you get enough shots to stun them so you can run up and do the execution.
Just finished it, the ending was disappointing to say the least. I honestly think the 6.5 reviews are spot on. Story was good but could've been better, especially that ending. They should've had more half breeds in the game. I was surprised how little you actually fight them. Shooting, cover system, graphics were all very good I just didn't get enough of it aside from the graphics. The amount of cut scenes almost made the game boring in the 2nd half. I actually started caring less...
I started at about 3 this afternoon and it's 1145 now but I got off for abt 2.5 hrs. If I had to guess probably about 6 hrs.
I'd give it a 6.5 or 7 so far (just htting chapter 14 as I'm typing). The shootings got a great feel to it, the story is pretty good, cover systems smooth. The 2 biggest flaws are the cut scenes and amount of gameplay which are tied together I suppose. I didn't mind it through the first 6 chapters or so but after that I feel like the games started to drag on. I start getting into some good gameplay and bam, another cut scene. It's kind of annoying tbh. The game really had a ch...
I'm in chapter 13 now. The first 5-6 chapters were really good, but the cut scenes are starting to get to me now. Way too many and too long. The shooting feels great, all the guns have a pretty powerful feel to them. Overall I've liked the game so far, just needs more gameplay.
People are so sensitive.. its just a simple article about screenshots, big deal. People are all for comparisons until it doesn't favor their console, even with something as basic as screenshots.
Plus, I think we all know, if anyone's qualified to talk about screenshots, its abriael lol
