When you're on competitive FPS game you spend a lot more time running around with fast flick motions, then you do looking at the textures of the brick, at least if your not a potato.

Same here, I don't enjoy only saving $30-$100 on the AMD card compared to the equivalent Nvidia card, but then wait months/years for driver updates just for it to perform correctly. I remember how hyped people got about Navi, then they actually hit the real world and let everybody down, now nobody talks about them. I built my PC last year, but I was a fresh start. So desk, mouse and keyboard, 3 monitors couple of monitor arms along with the PC, and it cost me roughly $2,300. I will already outperform the next set of consoles and I haven't upgraded a thing, imagine when I slap a 30 series GPU in it if they drop this year.. Sony is helping AMD with the architecture, so versions of it are efficient enough to be deployed in console SoCs that are built to a cost. People are only saving $50-$100 on average and losing out on a bunch of features due to AMD just lacking in that department. But Play anywhere is for Xbox/Windows games, doesn't apply to most of my PC catalog. Most of my library is on Steam and most of the titles I own are on the list so its a win for me all around. I might even sign up for Founders addition. I pay Nextflix $8 a month for terrible content, I think I will cancel that and pay for Now.

Just hope all the rumors come to fruition for AMD on the GPU side, so tired of being hyped for a product they are going to drop. Then the card hits the real world and we are all disappointed because it does not deliver. Honestly just tired of only having Nvidia as an option for a gaming GPU, competition is good for the market and Nvidia has had none in years.
