I find every game with RT effects in abundance, really make you realize just how fake and terrible lighting is in most games. This game and Metro are the first two that pop to my head, you play the game without RTX features on and its bland, looks just like everything else on the market, then you turn them on, and the worlds just become something else entirely. This is why RT is the future !!!
I mean with PCIE 5 being present on the new Intel boards and AMD's announcement earlier in the week that AM5 will support PCIE 5, was just a matter of time. Intel was showing off a Core i9-12900K system paired with a new Samsung PM1743 PCIe 5.0 SSD getting over 13GB/s. Now Samsung will be able to charge all the early adopters' ridic prices like we currently have on DDR5 ram, which seems to be harder to get your hands on than a GPU.
All of that will drive down price...
You will pay the cost of a PC over the lifespan of a console, its not rocket science and the console crowd should know it by now, but some still seem to be under this illusion of acting like they know everything but lack even the basics. The console makers don't make jack shit on the device, they make it back charging devs for software sales, charging players to play online, on top of the controllers, headsets and other accessories they sell themselves.

Don't know why people keep thinking they are going to come down.. Gen 3 drives have been out for what, like 2 years and any of the halfway decent drives are still $130+. I mean yes you can go get a $100 one currently, but at those speeds and price you could have saved $40 and got a standard 2.5 SSD...
