Than marketing them.
Now how about Yakuza 3 for the PS3 Sega? That would be nice to have. Here in NA.
It was a big week for MS and hopefully it kick starts Sony's RPG plans, like WKC, but it won't become something TRULY huge until it becomes consistant. Next week will go a long ways for the 360 if it has a huge week again.
Though VGChartz have been proven hacks, I do believe the price cut here in NA has given 360 an edge in August. Also, remember that Madden-mania is associated with 360, not PS3. That will have push 360 sales.
Also consider on a global perspective Tales of Vesparia's effect. 360 SHOULD win August. If PS3 pulls out a win in this month, then the Sony crowd has something to cheer about.
Once Ninty loses the soccer-mom audience (LBP could do it) they're in real trouble. I want some REAL software support for my Wii, no more gimmicks and shovelware. I don't see that for quite some time.
are you purposely targetting my comments to make up whatever lies you can to counter them? No proof just lies. Actually I kinda like this. I have no problem with you making a fool of yourself creating a new reality just for yourself to disprove my posts. Quite entertaining actually.
Get here quicker! Then I'll have Ratchet and be only mere days (less than 1 week!) from Disgaea 3!!! WOOT!!!
I'll be buying next fall's game. And the next one, and the next one....
It troubles me to even try and let comments like "something's missing" or "too short" sit well with me. Maybe it's the free 10/10's the Orange Box got last year for just value, or maybe the inflated scores for a horrible Lost Planet port this year to PS3 because of the price point.
I would have preferred a full Ratchet title, but Quest for Booty should be good fun. I'm looking forward to it next week!
Throw in beta-subscriptions to DC Universe with that bundle and DEAR LORD!!! THAT would be something potentially insane.
If Microsoft came out with the 720, I'm curious to see where gamers would stand with that decision. Console lives can't JUST be four years. It's too quick and the cost of a full console assembly demands some type of sturdy foundation to hold for a greater period of time.
The current state of the economy should also suggest NOT to release a new console too quickly, but we'll see what MS decides to do. I don't think it would be a good idea, but that's just me personally.
Only 8 Million more to go before you catch up to legally registered Warcraft players! Good luck!
rude but very funny and true! Insomniac are development kings. They've overcome every obstacle with PS3 development this gen and with both PSone and PS2 I feel they had the strongest franchises on both consoles mascot wise.
Quest for Booty is a guaranteed buy next week!
There's still room for advancement in 360 development and we haven't even come close to seeing what the PS3 is actually capable of (though Killzone 2 is out in February). The only console that needs to move forward and get with the times is the Wii, but as long as that thing sells on status-rep and shovelware, it never will.
I doubt this gen is ending any time soon. I think the state of the US economy for the XBOX and PS3 basically says it all. It's too soon and environment isn...
This and the FFVII remake will go down as the two most desired pieces of software that will never be delivered.
As a hardcore RPG fan, Fable 2 would lose a lot of respect from your's truly. Completionist goals are just that, this would be early indication in a non-belief in such things.
It would be as bad as those terrible FF players saying they could beat ultima and omega weapon in FFVIII by opening the system top and stopping the disc to get a Selphie end EVERY time.
averaged about an 8.5/10 overseas. The problem is it's just not what the Japanese look for in an RPG. All things considered, I think it did well, but Sony RPG success comes with Eternal Sonata's port and White Knight Chronicles release, that's what they're looking for.
Valkyria could in fact do VERY well in NA and EU. We'll have to wait until November to see. I know I will have it in the running against Eternal Sonata and Bioshock for my post-Disgaea PS3 RPG gaming this fall.
As long as this is a fact, the Wii will forever continue to neglect hardcore gaming demands. I fear for Nintendo's future if Sony or Microsoft steal the adult audience aways from Nintendo with a title like, say, LittleBigPlanet. When Wii Fit and Wii Music aren't considered a child's dream toy or the status item that the Wii has slowly turned into in the eyes of soccer moms everywhere, the Wii is in trouble.
That said, as a Wii owner, I would REALLY appreciate Nintendo deliverin...
Because Nintendo continues to focus on first-party exclusive meant SPECIFICALLY for casuals and young children. The hardcore audience, critics included, are left out and review the games with such a fact in mind. Wii music and Animal Crossing will be no different.
Third party support is based on greed. Wii titles sell with the largest install base. Based on gimmicks, Wii third-party software is produced, packaged and sold as quickly as possible to make the most out of an opport...
Bold prediction!
