Patcher's about as reliable as VGChartz for sales forcasting. I now question his overall knowledge of the current market conditions.
And screens like these come along. The PROBLEM is that this game is atleast two years away. I'm not waiting that long! I'll get it when it comes but DAMN!
Haha, probably not. Looks like I could be picking up a 360 some time this week, Fable 2 is definitely on my list of must buys.
Controller to me is so much easier to work and comes across as being far more natural than keyboard and mouse. Computer gamers claiming it to be better are probably just more familiar with the setup, as I am more familiar with a controller. But to them, everything they do is obviously better. Hence why PC gaming is almost dead, cause it's obviously better.
If the NA release date looks to be taking too long. Might just take it right off of Square's own Japanese store. That or Play-Asia, one of the two.
And Sony wins with exclusive FFvsXIII and FFXIII Agito on PSP. Unless Versus goes multi, I don't think we can keep up this chain of thought that Square has turned their back on their fellow Japanese giant.
of Warhawk, Siren and GT5:Prologue. Sony may have a hand in this basing the blu-ray only decision on past Digital Download numbers. If they were poor, maybe Sony sees no need for PSN delivery but rather sees greater opportunity with copies fully stocked in stores and bundled PS3s.
We all knew this was coming the second HD-DVD went under. Blu-Ray is the new standard moving forward.
August should be a good rebound month for XBOX. I can tell you all this, though I'm leaning towards sticking with just Sony, if MS's JRPG offerings are reviewed well, I might Jump in....but not the way Microsoft would want me to (don't expect me to buy any accessories now Microsoft.)
Been watching a lot of gameplay footage, seems to have some significant framerate concerns and is basically a glorified Dynasty Warrior game.
Maybe I'll be proven wrong, but I'm not hearing good things overseas about Vesperia, this looks bad and The Last Remnant's timed exclusivity doesn't scream "BUY XBOX" to me. I think I'll stick it out with Disgaea 3, Valkyria Chronicles and Eternal Sonata this fall for JRPG gaming.
But I'll keep my ears open come the Japanese release this fall. If it turns out to be great, I'll probably weigh it against WKC and it's NA due date to see if purchasing a 360 would be a wise-decision as an RPG fan in the near future.

But the constant flood of Kotaku's horrible reporting here on N4G is starting to get to me.
On a serious note, there isn't much marketing or anything going on here in E-Town Alberta. Best Buy certainly hasn't been doing anything console related, right now it's all about home theatre systems.

And spending a lot of money having XBOX mentioned as lead platform on advertisement (the end of commercials) can do a lot PoG. While MGS4's effect has been good to Sony, don't go thinking MS hasn't pulled out the guns in 2008. Lost Odyssey, Ninja Gaiden 2, the 360-related Madden Mania occuring right now. Don't turn a blind-eye to such a fact.
With NPD, console creator responses and Too Human, a ten-year development releasing soon, you'd think they'd find something to report on beside unboxing their Halo toys? *sigh*
Credible reviews for Ratchet, a downloadable so quickly...where are credible reviews for Too Human? I don't mean to be rude here but for such a BIG release the media seems to be defending, why is the only large source review a medicore score from GameInformer? Not a good sign.
I must try this out. Star Wars games usually never live up to the hype, but this one might.
