MS getting schooled at their own game. It only alienates gamers to pay for timed exclusivity, this might have more to do with the dev process, or maybe Sony paid? Who knows. Regardless, huge move for PS3, I'll be playing it for sure!
We'll see if the 360 can grab back momentum. I don't buy that "outta stock" crap, but they have more Japanese Potential this fall than the PS3. Unless Sony shows WKC at Tokyo Game Show for this christmas! PLEASE GOD!!!

PS3 is an RPG letdown, 360's got the goods. BUT PS3 will bring the RPGs EVENTUALLY...for now it's got the offline/online multiplayer goods. I love both, but lean towards 360 these days for my favorite genre (what I bought the PS3 at launch for...)
And 130 hours of enjoyment later, I don't need to mention it any longer.
But isn't it good that we are starting the wave of JRPGs that we had back in 2006? Just think, once the 360 is done its awesome run of RPGs this year, Sony takes over next year with White Knight Chronicles, FFvsXIII (hopefully), Its Tales game and then with games like DC Universe and Free Realms to boot! It's a good time to be an RPG fan.
That's because Scamco has confirmed that every console gets an original Tales game. Sony gets theirs next year and it will not be this, but something entirely new. Nintendo and shovelware-extrordinare get theirs later this year too. It's how Scamco is working things with Tales this gen.
But 8.2 is for noobs?.....um, okay there.
And you can take the anti-360 comments and post them somewhere else mate. The JRPG support on the 360 has been solid. Go back on the PS2 (my favorite console of all time where I was simply spoiled in 2006) and look at the average for RPG scores. Guaranteed on metacritic you'll find the good ones scoring mostly at 8-8.5 overall.
That's the norm. Lost Odyssey, Blue Dragon and Tales make the 360 a worthy JRPG machine. A lot better than Sony is doing these days. I can't wait for Wh...
Still busy doing everything in Blue Dragon and Lost Odyssey. I'll move on to Infinite Undiscovery, Fable 2 and The Last Remnant from there. Sorry Scamco, no purchase from this RPG fan.
Risky move that basically forces this game to sell well in all regions for everyone to really get the full user community experience out of it!

who finds this game extremely overrated? Valve/source engine or not, this thing is screaming lame to me. Interesting to see the Hulk zombie running around like its one of those antlion queen bulldozer enemies from Half-Life 2. Doesn't seem like Valve has much up their sleeve with this one in terms of enemy threat mechanics now do they? Zombies and tanks creatures...wonderful innovation!

There are some VERY stupid people in this non-traditional gaming market Nintendo is eating off of. I hope the Wii and all its undeserved hype dies. Soccermom applications and gimmicky first-party titles alienate actual gamers. Nintendo hasn't earned their payday whatsoever this gen.

When it comes to American cattered AAAs there isn't much outside of Gears to boast about this fall for MS. PS3 has more going for it that way, but the recent Arcade price-cut rumors have me thinking that MS can still pull this off.
Either way, it'll be an interesting fall economically in the gaming market. I for one will just continue loving life playing all the AAA games I want on my PS360.
It didn't live up to the hype when Gametrailers underscores it. This is the same site that purposely manipulates Sony visual projections for graphics comparisons to dim the colors so we can all hear those "washed out" comments. This is the same site that lists EVERY multiplatform game by 360 boxcovers as well as shows all their videos for the 360 for multiplatform games. This is one of the most pro-360 sites/shows out there, and they thrashed it. BAD SIGN for Too Human.

Namco...what are you doing? This alone just killed all of my anticipation for this game. It really, truly did. Back to Lost Odyssey and now it's ALL about Infinite Undiscovery in a few short days. Screw Tales now if THIS is what Scamco is going to do.
Both freaking awesome games from two of the most talented dev teams in the industry!
