I also bought the PS3 for FFXIII before finding out later that it will be on the 360 too. Yes i am also upset that it will be held back to coincide with the release of the 360 version on the western front but what can ya do?
This is a first day buy for me!! this is awesome!!! Now while playing Killzone 2 i won't have to worry about the tips of my thumbs hitting each other....AWESOME!!
Actually Lair may have been better received on the 360. First off Lair received bad reviews mostly due to the Controls. Since the 360's controllers don't have motion control - than the controls for Lair would have been your standard controls and received a better review. Also, since it would have been easier to program for the 360, they may have been able to better utilize their resources. Also since the 360 has a higher attach rate - there is a better chance of more copies being purchase...

Totally agree with you. I bought my PS3 ONLY for FFXIII, not Vs. And i read as well everyone on here HYPING up FFXIII. Now that the dust has settled with the PS3 fanboys who have accepted FFXIII going multi plat but are still bitter..(Danja & thereapersson) now its all about comments like "know right FF Versus is what im really excite about..." as if FFXIII is nothing and the FF series was not one of the best JRPGs ever created and was a major flagship for the PS1 & Ps2 g...
Of course it is - since FFXIII is going multiplat - the only thing sony fanboys can't wait for now is the Vs. since its only on the PS3 - when we all know that it's not the Vs. that made the FF series so popular and how every PS3 fanboy was originally looking forward to FFXIII

Congratulations to Hideo Kojima and the team that created MGS4 and the rest of the series. Is this my choice for GOTY...no, but any game to be nominated as a GOTY from any respectable site or show deserves the praise and respect. Looks like i will be keeping this game snug in my library for years to come.

MGS4 can be completed in 4 hours. Yes it can be longer but so can any game if you just stand in 1 spot.
Bottom line - start to finish - you can just not kill anything or you can kill everything but the game can be finished in 4 hours and is on a 50 gig Blu-ray. And there is over 5 hours of long drawn out dialog in the game which is 2x longer than any Hollywood movie.
No excuse - too much movie, not nearly enough gameplay.

I have plenty of cash - but Multiplat games will always be bought by me for my 360 since i like to comunicate with my friends and teammates on live. Not too mention that i just don't trust multiplat games for the PS3. Since most look and play better on the 360 anyways.
My PS3 library is MGS4, LBP, Lair, and Eye of Judgement. Only games i will get are the Must have exclusive games for the PS3. (I actually like Lair - Dragons are always cool)

Well to be fair Eagle - MGS4 was released several months ago. LBP received 1 GOTY in Australia, Motorstorm 2 was bought by all the people that bought the first so really no advancement there and at 1 mill for the amount of time it has been out...come on....and GTP5...you paid like around $30 for it - how can it not sell at that price?

1) False - there were plenty of games on the 360 to play in 06. Gears was just an awsome game to combine with the already existing great library.
2) I agree Gears is for Hardcore gamers and sure i will give you the 90% of xbox users are hardcore HOWEVER to assume that the PS3 is not a console created for the hardcore gamers is completely ignorant - No casual gamer is going to spend $400 - $600 on a console unless they are hardcore or have rich parents that bought them the cons...
