However i can't help laugh at all those fools who try so hard and hype up a game so much on this site - from BS articles about being the next HALO killer - put downs - accusations - anti MS articles...all proclaiming that KZ2 was the be all and end all of games - and now we are seeing reviews that are giving ratings within the 8 area....

Actually it was a great idea that MS paid $50 mill for GTA IV DLC. If you actually think about it - GTA IV sold around 3.2 million on the 360 - at $20 a pop for the DLC they just need to sell the content to about 2.5 million people. I can assure you that within the 360's life span - it will be DL'd by atleast 2.5 million people - those who already have the game - and those who will buy the game at a later time.
I think we need to focus on the words "first play through" & "thorough exploration" are indicators that anyone can just keep bumping into walls or stand in 1 spot to accumulate time.
I do beleive that game is around 6 hours - i am sure we will have more confirmations about this once people start uploading their times on youtube.
LOL comparing Banjo to KZ2 - Banjo was hardly hyped up as much as KZ2 - actually - Banjo was never hyped up...and never considered a system seller - and didn't cost $50 million to make over 5 years...
A 9.4 from IGN and a 9.0 from IGN Uk....these are great scores forsure but unless its 10's accross the board and the second coming of Jesus like many of the people on this site made it out to be, i don't think MS has anything to worry about - especially when IGN gave a higher score to R2...

If you have played COD4 then you know how this game will play....if i get disagrees then maybe its not like COD4 and i will have to actually play it myself and just by looking at the gameplay Videos is actually not enough to know how the game plays....

In regards to the JRPG's why are you only considering japan and sales - There are more JRPG's on the 360 with more to come in 09 than there will be for the PS3 WORLD WIDE. Japan is not teh world especially if i don't live there.
And MS losing exclusives to Sony...Bioshock was on the 360 only becasue the PS3 wasn't out yet - the coding in Bioshock had always been set that there would be a PS3 port. So there was no indication that it was an exclusive. Nor was Lost Planet ever ...
I understand your point. However the $50 million i think was also to entise R* to develope the game for the 360 as well as exclusive DLC. Also how do we not know that KI2 is not in the works? As far as we know they could be doing some finial polishes as we speak and the game could be announced this year. You are just speculating that the game is not in development and that the $50 million could have went towards it.

Crap another mandatory install - my harddrive is filling up fast. I may have to spend more money on my PS3 for a larger harddrive - how much did ALL you guys spend on your new harddrive and what size did you get? Just so i have an idea of exactly how big my harddrive will have to be so that i won't have to worry about running out of space for all these Mandatory Installs...

Bro the droids will never understand the concept of multiplats looking worse on the PS3. They believe that KZ2 is the only game that the PS3 needs. No other games for the console are needed - just KZ2 and that people will flock to buy a $400 console just to play 1 game for the next 8 years....(they seem to have already forgotten about MGS4 & LBP) as if those 2 exclusives never existed. And that KZ2 is enough to bring the PS3 from 3rd place up to 1st.

Bro give your head a shake - GEC is saying that MGS4 didn't even dent the 360 lead. 8 million console lead - wasn't it around 6 million when the PS3 first released? That means that the 360 increased the lead by 2 million by the end of 08 - the same year MGS4, Socom, and LBP came out for the PS3 - do you really think after that track record that KZ2 is going to make any kind of shift in the console war?

To be honest i am not sure why they didn't add the run and gun other than the fact that they wanted to stay true to the RE franchise. I remember playing the first RE on the PS1 and played the HELL out of that game - however back then the Zombies moved really slowly which made sense to stand still and shoot - to get the most accurate shot - however in RE5 the "zombies" or infected move pretty damn fast now - which doesn't really make to much sense to stand around in 1 spot to shoot....
What are you talking about? Games GOING multiplat is COMPLETELY DIFFERENT than 3rd party developers not supporting games for the PS3. Do you understand this. Bioshock and Lost Planet are on both consoles therefor the library expands for both - in this case a game was canceled for the PS3 - thus the library doesn't get any larger where the 360's does.

i went through 2 controllers...LOL i played it that much. Loved the game - nice to see that there is other pilots on N4G as the community became rather small after awhile.
