As a shareholder in Sony and MS i would agree. But as a consumer, i would rather have choices in what i NEED and what i don't NEED. I don't want to pay extra for features that i will not utilize. Like buying a car, i don't want to pay extra for upgrades or features that i won't need, thus why they have the options for buyers.

Ya i was wondering when this was going to get posted. The demo looks absolutley amazing....but am i the only one who notices that again the PS3 version looks a bit "washed out" not that its a bad thing, compared to the 360 that seems to be a bit darker? And the ambient lighting in on the 360 versions looks a bit better than that on the PS3? I know it's nitpicking and both look amazing but there are subtle differences there. Ghostbusters and GTA4 both run in HD on the 360 and non-HD on the PS3. Wonder why those games couldn't make it to HD on the PS3.

I was wondering when this 360 exclusive was going to me mentioned. Comes out this year but IMO the graphics look last gen. Another 360 exclusive coming out this year that has had no mention is Dawn of Fantasy http://www.gametrailers.com... which does look good for a MMO on a console.

Looks really great. You can tell that with the experience of constant use of the PS3 architect you can continue to improve future games. Defiantly a difference in graphics and especially the colour pallet. Looks great.

Dropping the price to maintain competitive in the market is not desperation especially when the console has been in the market for 3 years and has a 7-8 million more install base than your main competitor, Dropping the price withing the first 8 months cause your product is not selling IS desperation, then followed by 2 other price drops soon to be another within its first 2 years on the market. I personally don't think the design is all that bad, that it would actually sway buyers to decide to go with the 360. I think that the Slim and the PS3 will sell very well with a price point of $299. I am very eager to see what MS has in store. I do think that with with announcement, momentum has started, there is a buzz in the air and people are excited about a Slim model and a price point at $299.
