Anyone who believes that the gameinformer poll actually represnts a 54% failure rate for the 360 is a complete moron.
This just in, i conducted a poll of 5000 people (same amount of people used in the gameinformer poll) and asked them how many had to pay over $200 to have there PS3's fixed after the 1 year warrenty had expired...results show that 100% of all 5000 people had to have their PS3's fixed and paid for it as well.

Well i don't need a blu-ray player to play games. I don't need a blu-ray player to play RE5 since i can play it on the 360. So why did i have to pay for a Blu-ray player in the PS3 when i just wanted to play games. Blu-ray disc is only a storage device, it is not needed to play games, so Sony FORCED me to buy a blu-ray player. So if i now have a blu-ray player that i paid for, i will have to utilize it. You said "yha but what if you game online? that 150$ for all 3 years. Plus years...
Well...so by your rational...since i was FORCED to have to pay for a blu-ray player in my PS3, can i argue that if i want to utilize that blu-ray drive for what i paid for, then i have to buy Blu-ray movies. And at around $20 a pop, if i buy 1 a month, that's about $16 more dollars a month i have to pay to utilize my blu-ray player than having to pay $4 a month for xbox live....
Atleast play Forza2 so that you know what you are talking about. You just backed up these guys argument about not having to pay for damage in GT. Is God of War running off of the Unreal Engine? It looks very "shiny" which is a common trait of the Unreal Engine. Serious question.
EDIT - i have read that God of War 3 is using a customer built engine built from the ground up, but it looks very shiny like the unreal engine. I am sorry but i am not liking the shinyness of those videos. Maybe its because its off camera or something. I don't recall any of the other videos showing the graphics so damn shiny.
Opens box, No disc at all. This is a worse case scenario if you dont look after that disc.
Seems to work both ways. You can Lose 1 of 2 discs just as easily as losing 1 of 1 disc. Stupidity must have been you major cause you are really good at that.
I didn't mind swapping discs when i was playing Final Fantasy 7. Maybe you are too young to remember that game when it first came out for the PS1. Blu-ray is better for storage, i agree, however due to its slow read speeds, i think that is it's downfall. I hate mandatory installs, and i hate waiting 10 minutes for the install, then have to wait between chapters ie. MGS4 when i could just take 15 seconds to swap a disc after the first 8-10 hours are completed on the first disc. If new tech...

Actually. If you look at my history, you would see that i have stated many times i love my PS3. I wouldn't have bought stock in Sony if i didn't believe in the Company. I target the PS3 Fanboys who post claimes and opinions and try to pass them off as fact without any source or links, not the Console itself. I call it as i see it and i give praise where praise should be given.

I agree. I think this is the unit that Sony needed to compete with the 360 Elite. And being that it is at the same price point as the Elite, i do think that the Slim is a better deal considering all the features and a Blu-Ray machine being in the system. If MS doesn't lower the price on the Elite, i can see the Slim really taking off, especially in Japan. Actually, i think that the Slim would look right at home in the bedroom beside my Samsung 32' HDTV. Well looks like i will be owning 2...
Not sure if you had a chance to read my post, but the link i am providing you here is a better camera view. Clearly due to the angle of the shot the further away tvs have a darker image, just look at the tv above the 360 in the video on this thread while the thread below will show you a better comparison.

Those are racing cars. They don't represent the road car since racing cars have been adjusted thus do not reflect the manufacturing of the vehicle itself. Therefore it's easier to get the vehicles into a game with damage...aka why 88% of the cars in GT5 will not have damage since they are manufactured cars and the manufacturers don't want their cars looking like they take damage and are very hard to convince otherwise, KUDOS to Turn10 who i am sure had to pay a lot of money to get the appro...
