You forgot the TV:
3D LED TV = $1.000 +
3DS = Has it's own 3D screen.
Fixed that for you.
In my country, they're charging US $470 for the 3DS. That throwed up my buy for the toilet. Thiefs ¬_¬
RPG's on the old times got it right. I think part of the problem is in the evolution of the technology, if you recall those good old times (and not so old) the history on games was just text. What's the difference? People can read at his own pace, re-read, or just skip. Those games used simple graphics, meaning they didn't need to do a movie for every event in the game, and left most for imagination of the player. I remember classic RPG's like Chrono Trigger, and not so old li...
If you are going to take your PS3 with you to every place, well, yes :D. Remember to carry your 1000 dollars LED TV, too.
It's tradition. Like Christmas.
The product itself costs $101. If that's the way you think, take $100, buy the materials and make it yourself. If you dont know how, go pay someone to do it. It will cost you, like, $150.
Think. A little.
So? Is he playing the game, or seeing frame to frame? Does he do it with movies too?, more important: If you have a PS3, but dont have a 360, will you buy one just to play Crysis? And, will you play it frame by frame?.
Please, grow up. Videogames are made to be played.
Agree.
Still, in that gen. the xbox was more powerful than the Cube. I'm talking about lately, when Nintendo didn't use HD graphics and stuff, the wii didn't take the "evolution line" that PS3 and 360 has taken.
I'm not saying that I dont want Nintendo to make a beast, and I know that Twilight Princess rivals graphics in HD, but's that because of it's art design, not because of the power of the Wii. I still prefer the graphic...

He he, thanks a bunch for your words, but I'm more a Nintendo guy than a Sony one, because I'm a graphic designer and Illustrator, and because of that I love the wii for it's graphics (sounds strange, I know. Hope this doesnt damage the goos image you have from me :)
But I love to see the situation from all the possible angles, and I think that sony's doing a very dangerous movement, if they dont start to understand that they have to keep the PS3 and the NGP a...
The wii offers motion controls, and family fun.
The 3DS offers 3D graphics for only the person seeing.
The PS3 offers great graphics and power
The NGP offers PS3-like graphics and great power.
The Wii and the 3DS are very different, plus, the Wii has sold enough already. I'm more worried for the NGP canibalizing the PS3, especially if Sony continue in the tactic of having the same titles on both consoles, and offering gre...
@ HeavenlySnipes:
Actually, the best games for DS are games like Elite Beat Agents, The world Ends With You, Professor Layton, Phoenix Wright, and Pokemon. And those games doesnt have HD counterparts, and more than that: Those games, if you think about it, use the capacities of the DS, the mic, the touch screen. They are serious and difficult games. Hell, those games doesnt even make sense on another console, they are made for the DS. TWEWY is impossible to port. Completely i...
Well, Blazblue is pretty good, and I really like this foxy-girl whateverhernameis. In terms of gaming, I dont miss GG that much: They can even make a DLC with GG characters for Blazblue.
But, come on, they put a story mode in every GG, specially in GGXX; it's too much asking for a third game that concludes the story? I wanna know how it ended, at least.
It's all in tastes. For me, GGX and Blazblue are better than those two combined. But we're comparing bananas, steacks and ice cream here.
I dont give that much about graphics or power, I wont say lies: Games de look much better in HD. The problem, at least to me, is that graphics usually mean realistics graphics. Take, for example, hits like GOW, COD or gears: Grays, browns, red. Boring. All the same, I'm not saying they're not great games, but why always the same?
I love the Wii because of its limitations, games with great art like Krby or madworld or Muramasa are being made, and thats what I search in...
"If the child or youth is gaming instead of doing other things"
Well, usually humans do one thing at a time. And if he's not playing, is doing other things.
I'm a graphic designer, and I can say I agree with this article. I've lost interest in realistic graphics long time ago, and I find more substance and effort in a Wii game like Madworld o Muramasa, than in all the COD, Killzone and Battlefield games togheter.
Designers have been more busy lately trying to make more and more polygons, instead of being, well, designing something. Dont get me wrong, things like HD and power are important, it's just that realist games...
And the same genious continues: "Sure, tons of people love Link’s Awakening. I mean, who wouldn’t want to play a game with Link AND Yoshi in it? Well, I’d love to, but not if it means playing a game with Game Boy graphics. They limitations of the system just serve to frustrate me these days, no matter how critically acclaimed a game on it is"
Is completely.... stupid, that's the word. Attacking a Game Boy for it's thecnichal limitations is even worse that ...
no. It's not even the end for the iPad 1.
Memorize the map, remember the sweet spots for snipers, remember respawn points. Run, grow roots, kill, repeat. What an awesome skills.
Tell you what your objective is, doesn't mean it'll be easy to get there, plus, em, "hardcore" gamers will be able to reach those places in a moment.
I dont get why giving a chance to the news should be a bad thing. But I'm pretty sure some will stick with their camping pro friends. btw, that sh!t of reg...
