I've never played a Yakuza game but heard lots of great things about it. I won't be picking this game up due to the high volume of fantastic games coming out. I'll pick it up sometime in the summer, it does look pretty damm cool.
So I guess this guy speaks for everyone who owns a 360? Please, if there was a FPS that supported 256 player battles online you're telling me you wouldn't want it? He actually took the time out to write an article about this, that's lame.
I might pick this up in the summer. There's too many games coming out. This game looks like a lot of fun if it was released in a slow month I would've picked it up right away.
Woohoo, you're right, I did get them mixed up, sorry dudes..lol
TVGB: "Ubisoft CEO Yves Guillemot has confirmed that next to PlayStation 3, Xbox 360 and PC, the newly-announced Ghost Recon Future Solder will also be making its way to the Wii, PlayStation Portable as well as the DS. The CEO revealed the platforms during the company's fiscal year 2009-10 Q3 conference call
a few moments ago when asked to clarify on whether or not the game will be released on multiple consoles."
Update: According to one of Ubisoft's Twitter accounts, the "same experience, same development team and same release date" will be coming to PlayStation 3. Ubisoft's Kimi Matsuzaki also noted that PC details would come "later."
The Show is awesome, sometimes I think it doesn't get the credit it deserves. Journalists were choosing Fight Night Round 4 as sports game of the year last year, are you kidding me. The Show has a lot more depth, options, graphics,,etc..etc...etc..
TheShow is more representative of baseball than Fight Night is of boxing. "Nothing gets you closer", that's the slogan for TheShow, its very true.
I had this pre ordered, judging from the demo and the reviews it should be an excellent game. It's nice to have some variety in gaming. Game Informer gave it a 9.5, looks like it will be received well critically.
Good luck to Quantic Dream I hope the game is a commercial success as well, they deserve it.
Maybe I'll pick it up in the summertime.
I'm a big baseball fan, and a video game fan for that matter. The Show influenced me in getting the PS3 over the 360 and I'm glad I made that decision. That franchise has so much depth it's amazing, Road To The Show is spectacular.
I'm surprised TheShow 09 was not nominated for many sports games of the year polls. Oh well, can't wait for this years iteration.
And are planning to purchase Final Fantasy 13, which console will you be getting it for, and why.
Played the demo I was very impressed. I can't wait to play the full game. Congrats to Quantic Dream and Sony for taking risks in funding projects like this. Keep gaming fresh and innovative that's what it's all about. Not every game has to be a FPS, Sony caters to all types of gamers.
Even though not everybody is into baseball, but as a game in the sports genre its on the top of its class. There's so much depth in that series it's amazing. One of the best sports franchises I've ever played, and each year they make vast improvements.
9.5 for Heavy Rain that's great. I was very impressed with the demo. I hope the game is a critical and commercial success.
Judging from the developer diaries it seems like they put a lot of effort into this game. I do dig the art style I think it's pretty cool.
I get the notion that this is the game people are thinking about picking up to hold gamers up before God of War 3. Judging from the critical reception the game is not all that great. Once God of War 3 comes out people will forget about Dantes Inferno. It's sad but God of War is a whole different beast. I can't wait.
They delivered PS3's first AAA game of the year but not the last. March 16 is right around the corner =)
He says the campaign will exceed 10 hours. Stig Assumen mentioned the campaign will be around 12 to 15 hours, which seems just about right for an action adventure game.
Another FPS. The industry is becoming over saturated with FPS. Looks cool but there are too many shooters out there in the market.
March 16 hurry the hell up! I have a feeling this game will exceed expectations I can't wait. It will be one epic ride.
Sony hasn't shown much of God of War 3, which is a good thing. The less we see, the more "WOW" factor we will experience when playing it. Should be an awesome game.
