Don't even think about getting 2K. If you have a PS3 it's a no brainer. The Show is overall the better game.
Good news for Sony. LBP is great; this move almost ensures we will have more great games on the way from MM.
You'll love it. Gameplay, graphics, animation, atmosphere, everything is awesome. I suggest you purchase it because you can get into Road to the Show, which you can play for a really longtime. I have a good amount of games, but The Show is the only game I play on a consistent basis year round; there are plenty of game modes to keep you busy.
My only gripe is that at times the online lags, you actually get used to it..lol This year they are supposed to improve that aspect so l...
Mines back to normal. Sweet.
This is the beginning of the Apocalypse.
Maybe the next Syphon Filter, GT5 release date, Twisted Metal Black 2, footage from The Last Guardian perhaps.
It's looking great for Sony this month. I shall be picking up The Show this Tuesday and God of War 3 2 weeks later.
Alan Wake looks like a fantastic game, and the graphics look great in its own right. But to say that they trump God of War 3's graphics, you gotta be kidding me. Have you not seen the footage on gametrailers?
You're either blind or blatantly biased. God of War 3 is in another league. An earlier review is quoted as saying the graphics are "beyond belief". Get your eyes checked and stop posting nonsense.
I agree with some posts that the amount of actio...
Well written review.
No Figboy, you aren't the only one that wonders why PS3 games get nit picked, and get negative coverage no matter how great the games are. My guess is that some of these journalists either like the 360 more or just don't like the Playstation brand, so they nit pick the smallest things on a PS3 exclusive and write an article on it. It's sad.
Small anecdote. When I purchased the PS3 early 2007 the manager at Gamestop in North Bergen, NJ was such an A-hole about it. He literal...
I'm glad he mentioned MLB The Show. I think it's been one of the if not the best sports franchises in the past 3 years.
I think The Show is one of Sony's most overlooked exclusive franchises.
I thought the game was awesome, I would personally give it a 9 out of 10. Been gaming for over 20 years I have not played a game quite like this. From what I understand it's similar to Indigo Prophecy and Shenmue, for some reason I never got around to playing those games.
Heavy rain was a great, unique experience.
IGN gave this game a 2 out of 10, Destructoid gave this game a perfect score. Is this a joke?
I watched the new footage on gametrailers, it is incredible. The anticipation for this game has sky rocketed. I've been gaming for a while, that footage just blew me away. It's mind boggling to think how video games and the industry have evolved. I still game because there are still phenomenal games being developed, such as God of War 3.
I agree with some of the comments about MLB The Show. That franchise is fantastic, I will definitely pick it up next week.
Happ...
I completed the game today. Very unique experience. I went to work this afternoon and was thinking about Heavy Rain, the decisions I made along the way and their consequences. It left a very good impression on me. I hope Quantic Dream develops another game similar to this sometime in the future.
I've been gaming for over 20 years. I've never seen a game of this magnitude. I don't know what to say. I'm at a loss for words.
Amazing, epic, astonishing, brutal. I don't know, it's insane.
Ahhhh. I'm refraining from watching this video. I'm trying to stop myself from being exposed to too much before getting the game. I see by the responses that this was insane. I'm getting the Ultimate Edition.
Hell Yeah!
He might have a valid point, the 360 might outsell the PS3 in the U.S. this year, but worldwide I think the PS3 overall will do better.
As far as stock shortages, I live in Northeast, NJ, the PS3 is extremely hard to find over here.
In Northeast, NJ it's a bit difficult to find PS3's. I have one already but I noticed in a few Best Buys and Targets they have been sold out for at least a month. I'm sure when they get some in they sell quickly, same goes for the Gamestops around here. That's a good sign for Sony.
