It's possible that Sony is holding off on some surprises for E3. Maybe a new Syphon Filter, Twisted Metal, a new Kingdom Hearts, Demon Souls 2 maybe? We will have to wait and see, exciting times.
They are coming to this conclusion based on 1 art piece of the upcoming game. We don't even know what kind of powers the "new" Cole is capable of. We have to wait and see.
Mario has been cartoony for the past almost 30 years and is an icon in the video game world and beyond. Even people who don't play video games know who Mario is. Why should he change now?
What's up with all this stuff being leaked before E3, it was like that last year also. I wonder if Jaffe and/or Sony is upset about this.
First off the Ipod shouldn't be on that list, it's a mobile device which you can play some games on but it's not a full fledged video game console. And also, how in the world is the Super NIntendo and PS2 not on that list. The PS1 is on there but not the PS2? And the Dreamcast is number 1? I would have put the NES at the number 1 spot, its the Hulk Hogan of video game consoles.
Wow. Even at this stage of development it's looking mighty impressive.
If it comes bundles 299 for a 360 and Natal it will definitely move some consoles. But if you already have a 360 a $150 price tag is a little steep.
I would love to see Egypt and the middle east be the base of the next story. We already saw jungle environments, and snow, and catacombs, some sand and pyramids would be sweet.
If Sony officially announced KZ3 and LBP2 before E3, I wonder what in the world they are going to have in store for us. Should be very interesting. A new Syphon Filter perhaps, Twisted Metal? Let's see what happens.
Can we see an announcement for Uncharted 3 maybe? Anything is possible.
Some of us over here argue whether or not Japan is an important market, or if the U.S. market is important. To companies like Sony, Nintendo, and Microsoft I'm sure they take the global market into major consideration as to how they are selling.
How all this stuff gets leaked before E3. I believe Jack Trenton made a comment about Sony's stuff being leaked out before E3, it's like that every year.
I hate the fact that stuff gets leaked out before E3. It's like come on that takes some of the excitement out. As far as paying for the premium service only if it's worthwhile. I have no complaints about what's available now free of charge.
For those bickering about getting charged for the service the key word here is OPTIONAL. If you don't want it then don't suscribe, simple as that.
Release some bundles when GT5 and move are out, and even LBP2. One bundle with GT5, another with Move and games for it, and another with LBP2. And if they manage to do a slight price cut along with these bundles, then sales will definitely be insane.
If Sony can show us some great games to use the move with, market that properly. and release GT5 and Little Big Planet 2 around holiday season and market those titles, and possibly bundle GT5 with the PS3, then yeah they will keep making some big strides.
This game is going to be brilliant.
We are in for something special.
And the list of great exclusives just keeps growing. As long as games keep being innovative it's a win for everyone.
I'm surprised they did not wait to reveal this at E3. I wonder what they have in store for us.
The author states that he has a wide collection of PS2 games that he still plays on the PS2, yet he complains about the PS3 not having backwards compatibility. Am I missing something here?
He also complains about updates removing features? Besides the removal of Linux seriously how many features did they eliminate as opposed to the great additions they've implemented.
It was his lucky day.
I purchased it yesterday. Awesome game. It's definitely one of the best PSN games out there. It's one of my favorite PSN games along with PixelJunk Monsters, and Wipeout HD. For those who played Excitebike on NES and enjoyed it, this is a definite pick up.
