If I had to guess I'd say the game will be out between the week of black friday and the second week of December.
This should be nothing short of a masterpiece.
Regardless of what people think of Kinect chances are it will sell a lot. I'm sure MS will put a lot of marketing muscle behind this. Even if the product and games are mediocre it will still sell. Look at all the horrible albums that sell a lot these days. And look at the Wii for instance, that system sold at an astounding pace, but do gamers agree that the games on the Wii are better than the 360 of PS3?
I was reading some forums last night. Some guy claimed he knew someone that worked for PD, and that it does have to do with the online portion being ironed out and that the game is really coming out next April. I don't know how credible this information is, but if it is true, boy this will get ugly.
I posted a comment yesterday mentioning that it was unsettling that the game has not gone gold yet. The delay is disappointing, I just hope it's delayed for a good reason and it's not delayed that long; if it gets pushed back to next year then I will be from disappointed to pissed..lol I'm also hoping that the game exceeds our expectations.
This looks like a sleeper hit.
The reason fans are upset is because ever since E3 they have been told this is the definite release date; and they announced a delay just a couple of weeks before November 2nd. Sure it's frustrating, but not to the point where you would cancel the preorder. I'm just hoping that the game will exceed our wildest expectations.
What's crazy is that yesterday I posted a comment saying "it's a bit unsettling that GT5 hasn't gone gold yet"...I go on N4G today and this is the first thing I see. This is crazy I just sold my YLOD PS3 to put money towards a slim before the release of GT5.
Stop making NBA games and work on an SSX for PS3 and 360..that would be awesome
You know what's a bit unsettling, that the game hasn't gone gold yet. Three weeks till release I'm hoping for a confirmation soon.
The scary part is this is just the beta with only a handful of people worldwide getting a crack at it. Imagine when the game hits shelves and gamers get acquainted with the creative tools.

Preorders for GT5 seem embarrassing to you. However, the end product of the game itself won't be.
I bugged out when I revisited Shadow Moses. That and the train level in UC2 were amazing.
I remember playing this game at the arcades in grade school. Good times.
That blew me away.
