Great article, beat Demon's Souls 6 times and got a platinum trophy. I have beat Dark Souls twice on PS3 and once on 360. Yes, I own it on two systems because I love it! I've been trying to tell people about this game, but all the negative feedback about it being too hard has scared some players away. I find it a bit too easy now and can't wait for a third one to come. I guess the DLC will have to do for now. I have found myself starting over from scratch recently because I fine i...
The ending wasn't too bad but it wasn't epic like I'd hoped for. They made a decision, they should've stuck with it! Just goes to show that when push comes to shove, Bioware get tossed all over the place...
"Nintendo’s reveal of their next portable console, the 3DS XL."
Umm. wtf is he talking about? This is NOT a new portable console, its a second option to the original 3DS! He keeps referring to Sony and Microsoft but obviously doesn't realize that Nintendo does things the way they do and its worked for them. Why is he worried? The 3DS is approx. 20 million units and still going strong out selling the original DS. They took a loss for 6 months or so, bug deal! Sony took a...
LMAO! Agreed with Splooshington...
There will be 1 revision, this is more like a second option. Those that have been following Nintendo know that they made 3 DS's; DS, DS Lite, and DS-i, the DS-i XL, were more of a second option as well. I think its great that they gave us a second option of bigger screens, tho a second circle pad would've been nice but no biggie. I rather have a huge screen the that little ass 3DS screen. Hope they have some good trade in bonuses towards that thing...
Awesome! All three DS Castlevania games will finally be HUGE on here.
Who cares!
I have to say that the PS3 does have some nice exclusives but I do use my 360 way more than my PS3; maybe not for gaming but defiantly use it more for its options. At the same time I played Dark Souls on PS3 for over 140hrs since launch but, just picked up the 360 version a few weeks ago and have been playing it for about 80 hrs already. I find it difficult to say that ones better than the other because they both offer something the other one can't. As a gamer, I never limit myself to one...
The games was surprisingly great! I really don't care for Disney World type games, but the gameplay was great and I'm sure the story will be too. I read that it take 70+ hours to complete the entire game; that awesome!
I will personally wait till they announce some type of CPP because games like RE: Revelation, KH, and any other future supported duel CP game will be useless without it. To be honest with you, I'm really digging the XL screens! Sucks that they didn't up the resolution but I have a feeling that the 3D effect will be much more profound with a bigger screen. I really don't feel that it's a revision so much as just a second option. No different that upgrading to a bigger TV or PS/...
I'm sorry but this should be titled, "Why Dark Souls is the perfect game"! I love Dark Souls, along side with Demon's Souls, it's the best game this generation. Dark Souls is in a league of it's own and should set a benchmark in how games shouldn't be afraid, to let go of your hand and figure things out by yourself; also, the gameplay is a perfect! Every time I ever died in a fight was strictly my fault, because the combat mechanics are so tight, that I have no o...
My favorite game of all time, along side with Demon's Souls! I've been playing since Atari, Turbo-Grafix 16, NES, etc..., and I promise that this game has left me awestruck more than any other game in that genre has ever done. I love it so much that I even bought both the PS3 version and the 360 version and beat it twice on PS3 and am at the last boss on the 360 version. Can't wait for the the DLC.
According to the producer, "Artorias Of The Abyss, the fir...
Love the way people bash the controller without even using it yet. I have all 3 systems and have had every handheld to date, and the only thing I could compare the Wii U to, is the N3DS. Having a second screen is great for me, as I hate having to pause to see a map, manage inventory, and have a HUD take up the entire field of view, a second screen eliminates that. Once it comes out and people see what I see, then maybe they won't criticize the second screen so much and appreciate the evol...
I bought this game twice already, I'm not doing it a third time because it has "HD" slapped on it! Why not launch it when the PS Move came out? These damn companies are trying to juice us dry! Instead of remastering a game that they made for the PS2 and Wii, why not take the time to create a brand new Okami 2?
Look, anyone buying a Vita is doing so mainly as a stand-alone handheld, not as an additional controller for the PS3. Sure it's nice to add cross-play on some titles, but like I said my point is that no one in their right minds will buy a Vita solely to use it as an add-on for the PS3 for Wii U like capabilities! Only people who will do this are the true loyalist of the loyal PS3 fans, no different than those who purchased a PS Move...
I've said this before and I'll say it again, it probably will be better in some respects, but I find it hard for anyone to dish out $500+ on a Vita and ps3 bundle just to play games similarly to the Wii U. It didn't work for the ps move, and it won't work for this either. I'm sure it'll be a cool peripherial add-on, but nothing vital if not utilized in a game. I see more people investing their time and money on purchasing a Wii U, especially if its anywhere from $249.9...
I rather Scott Moffitt tell me its 1080p than some, "Unnamed Nintendo rep" tellin me that its 720p. Even if first-party launch games run at 720p/60fps, it would be a significant boost to current gen consoles. I've played long enough to know that Nintendo thrives at running their games at 60fps; just hope that they can do it in 1080p sooner than later...
I know you never said that the Wii didn't have any good games, but you did say that it was, "For casual gamers not "hardcore", which is a ridiculous assumption! Just because you don't touch it doesn't mean that everyone else doesn't either. You again assume that I don't play it, asking me when was the last time I played it, which I do. I'm actually playing it now as I'm really enjoying Xenoblade chronicles, a "Hardcore" JRPG, and will soon ...
Agreed!
Really? I went all the way up to new game+++++++ and got a platinum. You could do it!
