Hope the PS3 version will turn out just as great too.
I don`t think Epic would let it be out before it was ready though, as it`s their show of title for the PS3 and they`re a very talented company.
I`ll believe it when it see it.
I heard the sequel to Forever will be called Duke Nukem: Never ;)
The score dosn`t match the all the complaints they mentioned, so i was a bit surprised to see it got a 9,4.
Still the game looks great though, a must for RPG-fans i`m sure. Too bad about the framerate being unstable, but from the score it seems the overall quality is very high.
But i think they should have shown more gameplay, instead of the running in the beginning (guess i just wanted to see more of the it hehe)
Considering it was only 30 seconds long however, it was a fast paced and cool trailer, which i`m sure will move a "few" consoles ;)
Sony definitely seem to getting the hang of their commercials lately (and other stuff for that matter) ;)
What`s really disappointing is you and your comment (even though one shouldn`t expect more from you)
Uncharted will most likely get me to buy a PS3 this year, maybe that`ll be disappointing for you, but so be it
It`s way better that the "This is living" crap we have in Europe, even though that has started to get better too, since they show off Ratchet, Heavenly Sword and Uncharted in the commercials here in Norway now, which is good and smart.
Glad to them having some ads which show of the third party stuff too. I think they could have had a better song with it though, as kss said, but that`s just me being picky. I have to say Counter ACT is right too, as i can`t see anythin...
Thanks for a good reply. I can see from your picture that you probably own all three. Wish i could afford that too, but since i have to prioritize it`s most likely going to be PSPS3360Wii for me.
By telling a story in a game, i do think need better AI, graphics, animation etc, because it`s creates a mood in the game. I`m not saying it`s not possible with the Wii as the games will obviously get better with time, but i do think the PS3 and 360 has an advantage in creating more in...
Because i think it`s an enhanced Eye Toy with a controller in reality. And even though it`s fun (like an Eye Toy), i don`t see the fun lasting for too long. I want development in games ; gameplay, AI, storytelling, physics etc needs to improve, and i don`t see the Wii providing more than minigames.
I can understand if people disagree with me on that one, because games are just meant to be fun, and i kind of agree. But is it wrong to want enhancements to the games too ? It sou...
Hehe yeah that`s true, but it would still be a demonstration though ;)
Hehe yeah that`s true, but it would still be a demonstration though ;)
Double post there just to prove my point ;)
You raise an interesting point again. But i don`t know if a game should get high praise just because it introduces something "new" (even though new and next-gen are expressions which in itself are debatable).
It also has to be executed well in my opinion. If the original idea fails due to execution, but still is a great idea, it most likely will be pick up by some others and made the way it should. Maybe it`s not always fair, but that`s how it is. Like foreign movies...
I agree, the current review situation is just laughable for me, although in a sad way. Yeah, of course a game is a subjective experience (what isn`t really ?), but there should be a little more consistency in the reviews.
If a game isn`t good, it also needs to be better pointed out why it isn`t. A lot of the reasoning (don`t really want to call it that, but...) i`ve heard in some reviews, just contradict the score they`ve given too, like GameSpot`s Ratchet review to name one. T...
That Assassin's Creed is a game people should rent or play for themselves with so many mixed reviews going around.
I think it looks cool, so i`m going to give it a chance.
Any game with Bill Murray should be fun though ;)
This could even work on the wii (not graphics wise of course, but the controls could)
Agreed, have creed and a bubble ;)
In a way, a trailer is still a demo (as it demonstrates the games in video from) ;)
Torch, i agree, Imsomniac is a great developer. Resistance 2, and Ratchets sequels as well as other unnamed projects is always something to look forward too ;)
SIX, well since Imsomniac already proven themselves many times, i don`t find that strange at all ;)
I think it will be more exciting to see how Killzone 2 will turn out though, in the sense that Guerilla does actually have a lot to prove for me and others. I`m glad they didn`t rush Killzone out this year ...
No worries man, it`s easy to think it as Valve did the 360 version themselves. Probably because the 360 is more like a PC, and they didn`t get the grips on the PS3.

That`s why i think they and other PC developers can try and make a PS3 version first, then complaining later. At least don`t give the port to EA, even though i hope i`m proven wrong on that ...
I get what you`re saying, but i wouldn`t be surprised to see something extra for the 360 owners, since they get the game later and could be without mods and some levels. It would also lack Mouse and Keyboard support, and the sixaxis support, even though that won`t be as important.
Probably nothing much, but i`m sure the 360 version will get something. Not sure what though hehe, but we`ll just have to wait and see if i`m right ;)
I`m sure it will be great.
I do find it a bit strange that the white engine is a multiplatform one if FF13 is specifically made for the PS3, even though it could be that the 360 could get a different game with an modified engine ? I`m not trying to say FF13 is coming to 360 here, as it has been stated so many times now that it is a PS3 exclusive, but i`m just wondering what i could mean ??
Any takes ?
