Even though it`s got more realistic now, i can see they still have the great dark humor the GTA games always had. Nice to see.
The graphics seem alright to me, not the best looking game around, but if they`re going to have a lot of apartments open to you, while having a lot on screen, i can see why. The last GTA-games were never all that great to look at either, but it didn`t matter as long as the gameplay was fun did it ? I just hope they get it to run at a better framerate t...
The combat kind of seems like FF8 to me, even though most people above me here bring up Xenosaga, which i havn`t played so i don`t know about that.
I`m sure this will be one of the RPG`s to pick up next year for the 360.
Thanks for the advice :) I don`t have a 360 or PS3 yet, so i `ll just have to wait and see which version i end up with. Think i`ll get a PS3 first, so i could give Sigma a go then ;)
If that`s the case, then the only thing more black and white has to be your way of thinking, black equaling all PS3 games sucks and white all 360 games rules.
What`s sad is that your hate for Sony actually makes you controlled by them, as you always have to have a different opinion that the one they`re having. I know you already want a lot of PS3 games to come to "your" console of choice, and i guess Killzone 2 is no exception.
Last i checked it`s okey...
Anego Montoya, i`m with you. That would be the worst nigthmare to happen :(
Real gamer 4 life, it would be a great coop for Sony if they did buy Rockstar, but it was just a rumor that`s not going to happen, even though i would rather want Sony to have Rockstar than EA.

Hehe yeah you`re right about that, i just think it will be out next year ;)
I agree, from a graphics standpoint the game dosn`t look that special. A solid 60fps is always great though. I havn`t played the original or Sigma, but i got to say it seems like fun, more fun than DMC4 at least ;)
And yeah, you`re first comment was kind of funny, even though i definitely get what you`re saying ;)
Agreed, it should have included many other games, but i guess that`s how it always is with this lists, something to disagree with ;)
Both RE5 and FF13 will be great games, but will probably not be out until 2009 :( I suspect the same could/will happen to GT5, but we`ll see.
Little Big Planet should be in any best of 2008 list (it`s going to be a big planet indeed). Alan Wake (looks more creepy than Dead Space), and Resistance 2 (how good is this going to look an...
The background music and "killing spree" sounds sure brings back back old and fond memories. Can`t wait to make some new ones on PS3 :)
I get what you`re saying, but isn`t it better to have a mix ? It will probably always be more sequels because they`re a "safe" thing to do, the annual sportgames being the prime example.
But dose it really matter if a sequel does something new with it`s series(and in a well executed way i might add), like Resident Evil 4 did, or as Metal Gear games always does to warring degree ? Would RE4 be much better if it was called "Man with Camera Over His Aiming Shoulder&...
Can`t make it past the first page (tried it in explorer too, but that went even worse as i lost the first page) :(
Edit : it works again. woohoo !!! Another Edit : Only some parts of it works hehe, what an article ;)
Ohh well, Resi 5 and Burnout should be paradise ;)
Informative ;)
Some of my fear for Sony`s online plans is stuff like this.
That you get games that should`ve included more stuff to begin with, but you have to buy the content it should have on the disc. It dosn`t matter if they`re fun or cheep like this, i don`t like the though of buying so much content. As in the case of Motorstorm and Warhawk, the expansions you have to pay for should have been in the game.
I just glad Sony at least dropped the whole Grand Turismo idea the...
EA, nuff said.
No, seriously, i think no one intends to make a bad game on purpose, but developers have to chose what they will focus on with limited time/money. Sometimes it`s because the developers dosn`t have the artistic talent or enough money/time to pull of great ideas, but someone else later does (Killswitch-Gears).
Ultimately, a deciding factor in judging games is that regardless of how good or great a game is, it`s the games it`s compared to which ...
EA deserves credit for trying to do something new instead of their endless line of sequels with new games like Skate, Army of Two and Dead Space, even though if they`re successful, i suspect they`ll get plenty of sequels themselves too ;)
Guess it helps to be from Norway, so i can understand all of what they`re saying, even though their english sucks ;)
It looks to be the first game from EA i might want to pick up along with Burnout, even though as with Burnout, it`s not a EA studio which is making it.
I`m a bit worried about how the framerate will cope with all those explosions, but the game do seem like a blast.
Haze seems to have many interesting ideas, but i`m not sure if they`re executed well enough.
The graphics seems pretty good in the jungle, but very bland in the more industrial areas. The framerate was a bit unstable too, but i`m sure Free Radical will tight that up before it`s release. I didn`t get a Wow feeling from the gameplay either, but given FR`s history i feel i should give them the benefit of the doubt somehow, even though the could be said of the Lair, before the gam...
Agree with that.
No worries mate, i get what you`re saying.
I`m a bit sceptical of Haze yet, because some previews highlighted some problems with the game, like unstable fps (which i`m sure will be corrected as Free Radical always have very smooth games), and not so good gameplay. The last one is a bit troublesome, and from what i`ve seen of it so far, i`m not convinced if it looks all that fun to play. But i`m willing to give Free Radical the benefit of the doubt until the game is out. So that...
Pole position was funny, if a "bit" too long, the first Zelda commercial made me embarrassed, and the second Zelda made me really laugh.
And Mario Sunshine... just freaked me out...
