It also has sixaxis turning of valves, even though that seemed a bit strange in terms of the hand movements on screen.
I don`t think Sony should`ve done or keep doing target trailers (if M2 is an indication). Why ? Because if the product isn`t as good as the target, it is a disappoint.
In the case of Motorstorm, it`s a good looking game and better than Pure if you ask me. But even M2 still dosn`t look as good or have the same amount of physics as the original trailer. K2 is the best looking game i`ve seen, but isn`t as good as the target either, although i`ll hold off complete judgement until the...
I don`t think anyone should expect a Red Faction amount of destruction in K2. You can`t have all that many explosions and destruction while maintaining this level of detail in graphics and fps. That`s why Red Faction (and i`m talking the one coming for 360 and PS3) dosn`t look nearly as good as K2. The Red Faction games wasn`t the best looking games on PS2 either, but managed to run somewhat smoothly. RF2 was a blast in splittscreen though ;)

Agree, i think Sony will have great use of GG`s engine. They should share it with 3 party developers too.
I do hope Sony stop with the CGI stuff though. Their gamez look more than good enough on their own (like Motorstorm 2 for example).
But i think a video would be better here. Still, from what i`ve seen so far, i don`t think K2 looks better than the 2005 CGI (and how could it ?). But it is without doubt the best looking console game.
I think characters (although the hair looks better in the CGI) and lighting actually looks better in the actual game than in the CGI, which is an amazing accomplishment.

Didn`t like the ending of MGS4, so a new one would be great. Still, looking forward to other Kojima projects hopefully getting shown in 09.

Don`t have a 360 myself, but if it did, i would get Gears 2 and Fable 2. Instead it`s R2, LBP, and perhaps Bioshock and ME for me, but i think both platforms has it`s games this holliday, so happy gaming for all. Wouldn`t surprise me if some comes with a R2 scored less elsewhere or Gears 1,5 below, but still ;)
No, MAG is being developed by Zipper, the original makes of SOCOM. Hope we see some gameplay soon though ;)

I wouldn`t be surprised if Studio Liverpool was making another Wipeout game, even though nothing`s official yet. Just want them to put Wipeout HD on Blue Ray too.

It does seem like a platformer in FPS though, so it will be fun to see how it turns out. Hopefully good.
A bit unsure about the combat, which seemed a bit clunky (a weird thing to say about a FPS), but that could just be the player in this case. Also, i`m a bit unsure how the game will be if you don`t go where you`re supposed to. I know there are alternative routes, but i hope you do get to explore a bit and are given some degree of freedom and interaction with the environment.
Other than that, looks great and i want a demo ;)
Previews like this and the recent trailer GG put out, is seeming to put the original scepticism myself and others have more to shame for each new revealment.
I`m glad to hear people who`s playing the beta likes it too, which was a good sign about R2 judging from the IGN review. In a way i wish feb 09 was today, but thankfully R2 and LBP will help me pass the time until then and let K2 get even better ;)
Agree with the facial animation,it seemed blocky. But it looked like a very creepy game and very movie like (reminded me of the Machinist in a way).
Hope to see some gameplay soon.

I would add Bioshock in there too maybe, since i only have a PS3 and havn`t played it before. I would definitely get Gears 2 and Fable 2 if i had a 360 though.
Very nice screens. The predator thing looks really great and i like the general tone of the game.
I couldn`t help to laugh at Nale`s facial expression in the first pic though hehe. Looks like a very hard attempt to smile, but at least it got me smiling ;)
Agree with MGS3 and FF7, but i havn`t completed Shadow of the Colossus, so i can comment on that. As for MGS4, i didn`t like the ending at all, but thankfully a new one is coming before christmas.
It seems the game is so great, the reviewer`s kind of lost for words. He then goes on to describe it as genre defining as Mario, Half Life 2, GTA4 (yeah right),and Braid.
Rag Doll Kung Fu in an updated version is on it`s way to PS3 by swedish developers Trasier Studios. He would like to list all the great stuff about the, but would rather have you find out on yourself. Apparently there`s a lot to discover. A true 10 in is opinion.
