That should work fine, although a co-op mission on hard would be impossible alone.
The worst quit penalty was Cod4. I quit heaps of games because the crappy matchmaking on the PS3 version always put me in a laggy server that was just unplayable. My only option was to quit the game, this happened so frequently that is seriously affected my win/loss ratio.
Video games don't affect people's abiltiy to make decisions, it' saying things like that that get video ganmes banned in Australia.
Compare 2006/7 games to Killzone 2 and Uncharted 2, we might not see that much improvement in the next few years but it certainly tells how much much things can change.
On the other hand, Uncharted 1 and Cod 4 are 2 years old and they still look amazing, are we going to improve more than we have since then?
All online services should ban offensive people, not as an act of censorship, but just for the sake of everyone else.
But as shooters they fail. The shooting is way too basic and easy, with a bad aimer, weak guns, lousy movement, slow moving bullets (the only flaw of uncharted 2) and enemies that flash colours when you shoot them. To a shooter fan like me, the overall experience doesn't compensate.

Southern Command was awesome in R1, and so was the dark house in R2. The whole game could have been like this.
Silent Hill is a perfect example of scary atmosphere. Just from playing only the demo that came with Metal Gear Solid I crapped my pants. The full and some sequels were great.
The only time where a twist in a game has really surprised me apart from MGS. Most other game twists I can see coming. Uncharted 2 was also quite surpising.
But I have to agree with mrv321, in that if you haven't played Uncharted 1, you should do so; RIGHT NOW!!!
As for scary games, the dark hallway scenes in Resistance 2, and the Southern Command tunnels in Fall of Man made me kind of wish that Insomniac made the entire game a horror game, they were just that good. ...

That's a poor effort. I beat Drake's Fortune over 30 times, and have already beat Among Thieves 5 times.
Just joking, but seriously, you might need a new PS3. My one sometimes gets loud if I've been playing it all day, but never shuts itself off.
So the best game ever is Wii Sports because it sold so much? I was here thinking that the best games are the ones that are most enjoyable to play like Uncharted, MGS, Killzone, Uncharted 2, Ratchet and Clank (looking forward to the new one) and other games which I enjoy endlessly.

Drake's Fortune was way underrated, but Uncharted 2 is being adequately praised. Hopefully the sequel's success will encourage people to play through the original, which I suggest you go and do now if you already haven't, It's an unmissable experience.

Although I disagree with DiffusionE and all PC fanboys when they say things like "no console can ever be as good as a PC ever" or that "PC will always be better than consoles and owning a console is pointless."
While it is true that a PC 'CAN' outperform a console; this is not true for ALL PC's. A high quality gaming computer will be better than a console, but an average PC will be outperformed by consoles. While good PC's will most likely be ahead of consoles...
There's no reason that it won't be good, but I haven't been that excited for it judging by what I've been seeing. I do know that the multiplayer will be easy again, with simple aiming, shooting and killing; making it accessible to many new players. While still being engaging enough to satisfy hardcore shooters.
The problem with Killzone 2 was that while I enjoyed it a lot more as it was much more immersive with better aiming and shooting, many new players and less hardcore player...
I'll play on anything but and N64 controller and a Wiimote/nunchuck. Nintendo had it great with SNES and Gamecube, but the wiimote is easily the worst game controller ever.
