Will it be on PC?
Michael Atkinson has ruined gaming for Australians.
Off-topic: The author's name is John Funk. That is an awesome name.
But I'll definitely be getting the game because I enjoyed the first one so much. Too bad us Aussies get a crappy censored version :(
Espetially when they are the same game that was released a year ago with like 5 new features. For example, I will probably never understand why people will fork over good money for FIFA 10, when they can almost get the exact same thing in FIFA 09, for a whole lot cheaper.
I'm pretty sure that,
Killzone 2,
MGS4,
inFamous,
LittleBig Planet,
Resistance: FoM,
Resistance 2,
Ratchet and Clank (ToD, QfB, and the new ACiT),
Warhawk,
Wipeout HD,
Demon's Souls,
Folklore,
GT5P,
and best of all, Uncharted: DF & Uncharted 2: AT,
all say otherwise.
Compared to: Halo 3, Gears of War 2 (not 1 as it's on PC), Forza 3 and Fable 2. That's all I can think of now but tell me if I m...
But their scheduling is off. Releasing Left 4 Dead 2 this year was a bad idea. They should have aimed to get out Episode 3 this year, and maybe some more TF2 updates, and postpone Left 4 Dead 2 until next year or even 2011.
The article does make sense though, with the console market growing, and the PC market shrinking, mutliplatform releases make sense more than ever. Console exclusives like Halo and Uncharted seem to do OK without any PC version available, it just goes to show ...
I seriously found Galaxy to be very basic and boring. The only good Mario games are the Mario Bros sidescrollers and Super Mario 64, all others suck.
Ratchet and Clank on the other hand is an amazing series that keeps improving. I can't wait to play A Crack in Time next week. If it is the last game in the series, it just means that it will not outstay its welcome like Mario did a long time ago.
At GAME and JB Hi-Fi, games cost $80 - $90. While EB Games charges upto $120, I seriously haven't bought from them in years.
The video game - movie relationship has never worked well. With crappy games coming out for a movie, and crappy movies being made from games. The thing is that Uncharted has such a Hollywood style to it that it might work. I doubt that they will make it good, but if they can make a good movie out of a game, this would be the game to do it.
The best thing about Ratchet games is discovering the great weapons and levelling them up, I don't want to spoil any of the surprising weaponry so I can't watch this.
My dad met him once and said he was really cool, and he's a pretty good actor on stage and in films.
The bad thing is that us Aussies can't hide our accents so well, so we won't get Drake's awesome voice. This normally wouldn't bother me, but afetr experiencing how well the voice acting is done in Uncharted, means that a film deserves to have those voices.
Well that's like, your opinion man.
If it's classic MGS stealth gameplay then I'll definitely be getting it. But if they turn it into a hack n' slash buttonmasher, then I'm not touching it with a 20 foot pole.
Forget Violet laser disc, we need X-ray discs or gamma-ray discs that hold 1000TB; just don't stand near it or you will get radiation cancer.
As for your prediction in PS4 hardware, I like it. But, how much will that COST?!
Drake's Fortune was my favourite game ever until a couple weeks ago, It now sits as second behind its sequel.
I would love for Naughty Dog to continue the series, but I am also interested in seeing what else they come up with.
After having a lot of fun with Crash Bandicoot, I ignored Jak & Daxter in favour of Ratchet and Clank (getting the new one next week), a decision I now regret.
It will probably have a revamped version of its current processor, not a new one entirely. It will have a new graphics card and mor RAM, and probably come standard with a 1TB HDD. It will maybe be compatable with the next level of High Definition. As for disc storage, I think it still might employ Blu-ray, but be compatable with those 200GB discs I've heard about.
I think they will continue to use the same PSN (which is fine), but update it with more features. I also think the Op...
Mash button combos, or mash button combos?
Just joking to all fans, but I find hack n' slash games too boring and repetitive to enjoy.
How long until having a BD drive in a PC is standard? They are still quite expensive here in Australia, I dont think programs and PC games will be distributed on them anytime soon. Maybe in 3-5 years but most likely longer.
Blu ray will be in the next generation of Xbox. Or maybe Microsoft will make some new technology like 1000GB UV ray discs, or 100000GB X-Ray discs.
Blu ray and the mandatory HDD make the PS3 the more capable system, but adding a BD drive to the 360 now will mean that some people could play BD games, while others can't. Just how some gamers now can install data, while those without a HDD cannot.
Smash Brothers Brawl and Zelda are the only real good ones, I do play a lot of SSBB. Mario Kart Wii was disappointing, and I hate mini games like Wii Sports.
For adult gamers, the Wii offers nothing in terms of violent killing games.
