Nope. Streaming is bullshit. It will never compete with the latency of local gaming. Which is especially important when it comes to VR which is going to grow in popularity until its the largest segment of the industry.

In a VR game first person only would make sense. On a TV not so much. Static camera angles don't actually convey a first person perspective. People sway, shift their head and eyes constantly while talking and engaging with other people. Unless you're going to try to emulate that don't bother.

Know your strengths. Why they thought they could compete with studios who have been developing action games for decades is beyond me. Make a narrative RPG. It's what you (have been) good at.
I look like your typical video game hero (short brown hair, male, white, stubble) so the industry already caters to me. If I was something else I could see feeling left out. Games with character creators are a great thing because you can either make it look like you or play as someone totally different. The choice is up to you.
