I've never had a problem with my launch consoles. The games you own for the PS4 will look and perform better on the PS5 anyway so there is no reason to wait.

My understanding is that the SSD will be built right onto the circuit board so it will be faster than a coomon SSD on PC.
By the time they finally realize it's the future it will be too late for them to catch up. Microsoft hasn't been an innovator since the 80's.
