If you liked Destiny then you'll probably like this game. This game is pretty much set up like Destiny and share a lot of the same mechanics. And no, the game does not have traditional multiplayer. It's all online. No local co-op.

Oh the clones levels. Can't tell you how many times I said during the story campaign, "Wait a sec. Isn't this the same map as that one other mission?" This game gave me so much Destiny vibes and not in a good way.

Play on easy and run through everything? No side stuff? Go from point A to point B as fast as possible? There are people out there that like to speed run games no matter what kind of game it is.

When people are paying for something with their hard earned money they are at least expecting a good product. They should be entitled to that at least. So yes, entitlement does play in role in what people consume.

Both games are made by two completely different companies with two completely different mind sets on how to develop games. Square (I said Square because I'm pretty sure Crystal Dynamics/Eidos wanted to do something else) did it for the money and IP recognition. Insomniac did it cuz they fucking loved Spider-Man. You could tell how much Insomniac loved the character and lore. They poured so much into it to make it feel like it was part of the entirety of Marvel while still being it's o...

Only a few hours in and it's an okay beat em up type game bogged down by the GAAS mechanics, multiplayer, and loot based gear systems. If it was a more story focused game with 4 player co-op (online) ala the X-Men Legends or Ulitmate Alliance series, it probably would have been a much better game.

We will see. Hopefully it's not just a fad feature.

It's very interesting what developers are already doing with the haptic triggers. In Deathloop, when a gun jams, it actually locks the right trigger until you un-jam the gun. Pretty damn cool if you ask me. I know the Xbox One controller has haptic feedback but I don't know if it's ever been used in that sort of way cuz I don't have an Xbox One. Gonna be interesting to see how developers make games more interactive with the next consoles.

I'd put a lot of the blame on Take-Two. Look at what they've done to every company they own. Pushing to release games faster. Chocking them full of micro-transactions. 2k games are a prime example of what Take-Two wants in the industry. Sub par, rehashed yearly releases full of micro-transactions left and right. Also raising the prices of games. No integrity at all. They're a business and they're there to make money. I get it, but geesh, there's got to be some threat of mo...

I do something similar. Buy Playstation and Nintendo for their exclusives. Games that I want to play on Xbox are already on PC and I have a capable gaming PC already.

Selling well doesn't mean that you are the market lead. Yes, Xbox sold well in the UK but still got beaten out by the Playstation. The original Xbox sold well, didn't beat the PS2, the 360 sold immensely well. PS3 eventually took over it's sales numbers (talking worldwide, not just UK). There's a pattern here and Microsoft sees it. It's probably one of the reason why they're doing what they're doing. Releasing things on as many platfor...

NBA2K you have to buy the Kobe Edition (which is like $100 I believe) if you want the next gen upgrade. 2k is also charging $70 for the next gen versions. Suprisingly, EA, Ubisoft, nor Activision (3 companies known for scummy practices) haven't done anything scummy like this for next gen...... yet. They will find a way though. They always do.

Is it a 505 Games decision cuz they published the game or is it solely a Remedy decision? Either way, it's fucked up for those who bought it and the DLC.

Would it be nice if the PS4 controller was fully backwards compatible? Sure, but it's expected that when a new console comes out people would buy and use the new controllers designed specifically for it.

@umair_s51
Not like it's anything new. A new controller with a new console has ALWAYS been a thing. The whole all Xbox One controllers work with Series X thing is nice because a lot wasn't really changed between both the One and Series X controllers. It's basically still the same controller with no discernible features the new console will take advantage of. The PS4 controller on the other hand doesn't feature haptic feedback like the PS5 controller has which is somet...

It's out on the Epic Store I believe. Don't know if it's a time exclusive. Even though the director said he would never make it exclusive to one store front, I guess he changed his mind for reasons. I assume because it was developed using Unreal, they decided to go with Epic Store because the decrease in percentages taken by Epic Games if you publish your game on their store and if you're using the Unreal Engine. Also, apparently they partnered with Tencent for some things. An...

So how Smart Delivery works is you pop in the Xbox One version of the game and get the enhancements that the Series X's hardware provides or do you straight up get the Series X version?

Taste I guess? KI animations aren't that bad. NetherRealm's animations on the other hand are pretty bad except in cutscenes where it's all motion captured. Not sure how most of those studios do their animations but Capcom's method is probably one of the best, using key poses and animating the transitions between them by hand. Or go the route that Harada does with Tekken and Soul Calibur. Mo-cap as much as you can but manually adjust the animations for impact and visual style. ...

Just goes to show that companies don't really care about the actual situation and just wanna be "included".

@RpgSama
That's the only purpose of the SSD though. To reduce loading of basically everything. Reduce load times, load assets faster, reduce model and texture pop-ins. Things of that nature. Series X won't be able to load things as fast as the PS5 because it's not built into the architecture.
