Tomb Raider is a joke compared to Uncharted.
4 Axiom quadrapole surround speakers infinity Cappa center and Fronts as well as a Velodyne sub. Blu-ray movies and games sound great, and they look great on my 100" screen with my 1080p projector.
don't assume you corner the market on good home theater equipment.
if anyone is going to disagree with me, please give me your reason for thinking DD is better than physical media for the consumer.
unless they dominate in a field they will just shun it. That is how it is when you have been a monopoly for so long you think that everything should be handed to you. eith that or cheat, lie and swindle to beat the competition.
Zune video, blah, only a dyed in the wool fool would think that this would kill Blu-ray. First off, digital downloads of movies/games is a colossal rip-off and is Consumer UNFRIENDLY!! physical copies have value, they can be sold and lent and stored. Digital copies don't allow for any of this. usually they only allow for a limited amount of redownloading. you cannot archive them, or bring them over to a friends house (unless you lug your 360 with you) and that would be just stupid. the same g...
damn annoying little PITA'S rapping while your playing.
A Wii with added HD ability does not put it on equal footing power-wise with the 360 and PS3.
without the blu-ray player it would just about be worthless. PSN games are nice but, having to rely on it for all my gaming needs is not my idea of a good deal.
did the kids steal the kitchen garbage with the Wii as well.. :P
I have been waiting years for that sequel to come out! I was so damn pissed off when it was shelved.
ANYWAY...It will be interesting to see if they will eventually upgrade the source engine, it is getting a little long in the tooth for modern games on the PC and consoles (sans the Wii)
"that suggests a Wii HD could convince consumers that it's "the last console they will ever need."
It is a sad day for gamers if the "Wii-anything" becomes the "last console we will ever need"
I also do the same for blu-ray discs for my PS3 as well as streaming media. when I look for a game for my 360 I have to think, Will I be able to finish it before it kills itself? Some multi-plats look better but, I know I will be able to finish them on the PS3. That is why I ONLY get exclusives for the 360 now. If you disagree with me please explain your reasoning. there is nothing worse than a nutless wonder with no counterpoint.
to an already great system I am all for it!
Forget new IP for the Wii, who wants that!?!
Seriously though, I think I may have to dig around in the garage and find my Wii and hook it up to my 20" tv to play it...maybe not. :P
I like the concept, It looks like it will be interesting to play. Raven was great back in the day, It will be cool to see what they have up their sleeve in the future.
especially when they cannot read...
yeah, I added a bigger gas tank to my 1969 VW bug and now it is as fast as a Ferrari and handles like a formula one race car.
sheesh!
doesn't matter if it is from the big "N", Microsoft or Sony. It is fine for people who are old and need to get out of the wheelchair every once in a while or you are a hyperactive little bastard. besides that, a colossal waste.
That is the worst thing you can do to a console, the static build up will kill that PS3. what a waste...
