Instead of lucasarts getting other developers to makes generic third person shooters with the Unreal engine maybe they should try to do it the way they did when they were great and develop new technologies and stories on their own. C'mon Lucasarts quit being so d@mn lazy and make some games yourself!

I am a patient man, I have plenty of great games to play over the next 6 months. I really don't understand why everyone is so excited about throwing extra money away to get a copy when it comes out. show some restraint, or every publisher will follow suit and the average price for a new game will be 70.00 plus.

You can run anything that Valve has released on a 6 year old PC. getting nuts over Valve's lack of ability to learn the PS3 Platform is really a waste of time.

when you cannot invest too much into a game but need to kill a little time, Pain is what I usually play.
If I had a choice between the Wii and the 360 in retrospect I would get neither but I ended up buying the 360. the 360 between the PS3 there is no contest, the PS3's reliability ALONE makes it the better console.
The code he was talking about is the registration code, it is a 9 or 12 digit code used on PC games for copy protection.
without it you cannot run the game.
It is usually located on the back of the cd case INSIDE the box, or on the instruction manual.
The "customers" they are talking about must be the developers and publishers. not the consumers of the games.

Heck, Rent the game if you really want to play it. or get it used, anything but buying it new. eventually it will drop in price, once Activision sees that the price hike was a mistake they will go back to what the were. they are feeling out the market, if you buy the game rather than being patient in the long run all their games will be priced higher, then EA will follow suit as well as the rest of the industry. don't be stupid, if you relent and buy the game for at the new price point becaus...

these "kids" that you seem to have such disdain for are Activisions market. they are expressing their feelings over a person that lacks discretion and are unhappy over the prospect of getting bilked over a the price of a game. to be honest this kind of grass roots movement over a product that has increased it's price arbitrarily over it's market value is necessary and is a benefit to the consumer.

they think that ALL game consoles have the same reliability. They think that the PS3 and the Wii are just as much as a POS as the 360 when it comes to manufacture and failure rate. that is the only way I think that they can justify their devotion to the Yugo of consoles. It is a shame though, because other than the reliability issues it is a darn good console. the controllers are comfortable and I rarely had a problem with them disconnecting from the system. and games look pretty good as well...
and get the wireless adapter for the 360 gamepads for the PC and hook it up to your TV. A reliable "360" with free Internet play and free games if you do that sort of thing.
