I thought that the PS2 games looked like crap, this is the first console generation that the games rival the PC to a relative degree.

I have been having noting but fun with the demo and am looking forward to the single player. heck, I already preordered and paid for it.
you will like dead space, Like all games of it's ilk, you have to reserve ammo or you will run out because it is limited per level.
Other than that the game is pretty solid and the puzzles are pretty good.
and the story is solid with plenty of background but, I just didn't enjoy the game completely. I really dislike the gameplay mechanics of survival horror games. especially limited ammo, it just frustrates me.

Everyone needs to do what they are comfortable with. If you have a bunch of friends on XBL I can see why that would influence your decision greatly. All I hope is that people go into a relationship with a product (and it is a relationship) based on Facts. I agree that XBL is a pretty good service, the crowning achievment is voice chat, it works so much better than the PS3 voice chat. I personally never really dug the blade interface and I really do not like the NXE at all but, the XMB I reall...
Personally, I will openly admit that I HATE the 360 and the lousy, dirty barely useful company that makes it.
I was a 360 owner, I never owned a PS 1,2 or 3. I was happy with the original Xbox and when the 360 was announced I gladly pre-ordered it from EB. I spent 700.00+ the night I picked it up (extra gamepad, couple of games, ect.)
I was happy with it until it red ringed, then the rubber on the gamepad analog stick started coming off in chunks...then the second on...

and by extension BC2 itself when it comes out.
The game is truly great.
It is a little MORE difficult than MW2 though.
For example: you cannot blindly throw a knife and have it fly across a village to kill an enemy.

I haven't had one problem with the 3.10 firmware. I wonder why identical hardware can have different results? (barring fat to slim, that is.)

and I am sure that they would have mentioned it. Personally, I am not going to DL it, absolutly no interest in themes, it takes the nice clean default interface and makes it all busy and hard to read (for me)...
