even though I really prefer playing on a nice big screen with surround sound I want to see how good it will look on my PC (as well as looking forward to all the possible mods the community will release.)
Personally, I think that every new game that comes out should have better graphics and gameplay than the last. My gaming life doesn't end with Killzone 2 and Uncharted 2.
Here's for hoping that this game blows away everything in the market visually and gameplay-wise so that the bar can be set even higher than what it is now.

As for your comment, you are only partially right, I have an older machine I built myself, it uses a top end Asus Mainboard quad core intel processor 8800gt GFX card and 6 gigs of ram, It is probably 2 years old now and I can still play games with the setting at max. Crysis in DX9.x at maximum.
matter of fact most of my friends have more powerful systems but, maybe we are the exception, I happen to be an "adult"...
As much as I like my PS3 I would never give up PC gaming for it.
PC gaming is important, don't be fooled there is more freedom and innovation on the PC platform than anywhere else and something that is essential in the long run for a healthy gaming ecosystem. Without the PC do you think that Consoles would be as good as they are now?

the more I see of that game, the more interested I get. I liked the gameplay of Gears of War when I had a 360 and have no "issues" that alot of people have about this game having some similar gameplay mechanics. the funky video of the level reconfiguring itself looks so neat. and the ability of throwing your female partner is pretty cool battle strategy. The Wii is everything I don't like about consoles, It is gimmicky, the controller sucks, It's library is filled with mostly garbage games. and the games look like crap.
To be honest, Until the PS3/360 most game consoles provided a limited experience at best. and even though I owned an Xbox 1 I only ever played burnout3 and test drive: eve of destruction. halo was not to bad, it was the first fps that didn't feel awkward to play with a controller as apposed to the KB/mouse.
Just the the name "Tony Hawk" and the gameplay aspect of "tower defense" was enough to make me puke.
Fortunately, the terms are used in the loosest of ways.
