I have a Dlink powerline adapter and it (they) work great. I use to use it for the 360 till I kicked it to the curb after it's third melt down and got another PS3.
Powerline adapters are really worth getting.
and on top of that more plastic garbage cluttering up the game room.

Bad Company is a great game as is MW1 But, I wouldn't call the Battlefield series some sort of failure, The series has been around for a long time and is quite innovative. As opposed to IW, Dice actually incorporates great advances to the FPS genre. Granted, IW has improved from MW1 to 2 but, not as greatly as DICE has.
And, frankly, sales of MW2 don't prove that the game is better.
Personally, I feel that MW2 is too dry and takes itself to seriously...for a game. ...
Because when I think of the most realistic gunfire sound in a movie I think of that alley scene from Collateral. I was watching that movie in my theater room with 7.1 channel surround and you could feel it in your chest when Tom Cruise Fired his weapon.

matter of fact, Linux isn't just for "servers" everything from Cable set top boxes Tivo, roku player, cell phones, Asus/WD/Popcorn hour media players.
matter of fact, there is probably something that you use every day that uses Linux.
And it makes for a darn good Desktop OS. I have been using it for 10 years without issue. never had a problem with photo and video editing.
As for gaming I have to agree, but, my computer is not a toy, If I want to play...

controversy is a great way to make people curious about a game they may not have considered purchasing. you add a perceived taboo in a game it gets more publicity. look at GTA and the hot coffee minigame. all the free publicity from that and all the kids that went out and got it. I would say that is money well spent by IW.

doesn't matter though, I pre-ordered the moment it was available.
if they add realism to the game, seeing a billboard for dunkin'doughnuts in game or a
bus stop shelter with an advert for axe deodorant is no problem, it will just add a realistic dynamic to the game environment.
BUT, advertising during load screens and such, stuff that pulls you out of the game is uncalled for.
OR powering on my console and having to see an ad for ALPO dog food or tampax with wings would really piss me off the the point of getting rid of my ...
The 360 has a giant, thriving Illegal download community. Every game made for the 360 has been ripped and posted on every NZB and torrent site on the net. So, please, get off your high horse.
Sound effects in Bad Company 1 were award winning! I expect the effects in BC2 to be multiples better!

It is like 15.00 and under and is a great game., IF Bad Company 2 is even a little better then the original it will be worth it. and by the screenshots and gameplay videos I would say it is much better than the first.
