This would be all well and good...If MS hasn't done this before. They come in hot at the beginning making big promises and a few exclusives that look stunning....by year 2 they shutter most of their studios and try to ride the rest of the generation on hype with no substance.
You act like the PS4 makes games look terrible and run bad thus, you "have" to own an xbox1 or the experience is "unbearable"... ridiculous.
If you have the money the throw away, more power to you, your the guys that give Ms the incentive to do as little as possible to keep studios open making exclusive first party content a few years after launching of a new console.

I have a friend a little like ziggurcat, they are usually hypocrites that will make fun of or lambaste one game but, will be a forgiving apologist if the same problems occur on a game they really are really looking forward to.
I will say one more thing about cross play though, If we have to deal with other platforms, we should have the ability...or more so, the right to exclude other platforms in matchmaking, If I don't want to play with PC gamers I shouldn't have to. Cross play is a tempest in a teacup, I could care less if I play with others that have another console and I defiantly DON'T want to play with PC gamers, They tend to have an inherent advantage over console gamers especially in FPS gaming where the KB/mouse is superior.
