Microsoft doesn't have the wherewithal to try to build a customer base with VR, First off, they would have to support it with well thought out and innovative games and software and their track record for keeping development studio open is no longer than 2 years. that means they would have to rely on the third party to support them, which is probably not a good idea. which means "MSVR" would most likely die a quick death leaving anyone who purchased the peripheral left with an ex...
your not actually promoting "universal basic income" are you?
If you are, It has been tested in Seattle, Ontario and a few Scandinavian countries and has been proven a failure, What they learned from the test is that when given a basic income with no obligation to work, people don't pursue their passions or try to better themselves....they just do nothing.

"They just want you paying into their services every month."
There it is, you are more correct then you think, Microsoft have been moving toward a "software as a service" model for years, It is a Microsoft wet dream to charge people monthly or annually for all their main software products, Specifically Office and Windows. Imagine having to pay Microsoft every year to use Windows? well, get ready for it because it's coming.
Microsoft buying a few studios doesn't mean anything, Are people blind? this is what they do, they create hype just prior to the announcement of a new console by buying a few studios and touting the amazing magic that the next Xbox will be able to do (for an example: the Xbox1 with cloud processing) to keep you interested and convincing you from holding off buying a competing product, Then you start hearing the smaller shill websites releasing stories about "leaks" about some &q...
Of course the games are popular, The Nintendo first party games are the main reason why people buy Nintendo's consoles. I wouldn't be surprised if every Switch owner buys every Nintendo franchise. but, at the end of the day, that is all they have. because every thing else plays better and at higher resolution and frame rate than anemic Nintendo consoles.
oh boy, I hope this doesn't make the single player experiences suffer.
"free market capitalism" taken to the extreme is a danger but, Socialism still has a 100% failure rate. The US is kind of a hybrid Capitalism with Social aspects...and that is about the best we are probably going to do. It may not be perfect, But I'll take it over this pie in the sky fantasy of somehow full blown Socialism will make everybody want for nothing and all the wrongs of the world will be some distant memory of an eviler time.
..
I grabbed the metro: redux for 8.99 good deal seeing everybody raised the price on the physical copy used over 20.00. I'm guessing the price went up because they are releasing Metro:Last Light soon.
meh, I just grabbed the Metro Redux for 9 bucks on the PlayStation store, never got a chance to play them, I think my time is better spent with that.
In other News Courtney Cox sues Fortnight developers........
good, seeing that he admitted that he took the dance from a music video, it's pretty damn disingenuous of him to "claim" if for some poorly thought out cash grab.
What do you prefer, first person or third person? Personally I would get Anthem, Regardless of all the complainers, It is something new as well as a really good looking game, You got it "for free" so why not play it till you get tired of it? I'll tell you one thing though, Just remember, these games do have value, and don't let anybody tell you otherwise.
That doesn't make any sense, He gets either one of those games...FOR FREE, even if there were microtransactions he could effectively spend as much as 60.00 on them and still be ahead.
You want people to buy a BF game? you need to bring the boys from B Company back!
You wouldn't be whining about giant stock losses trying to hide the fact that you tried to simultaneously turn Battlefield into a political statement and a fortnight rival at the same time.
and maybe this time let Haggard drive TRUCKASAURUS REX!

Bulletstorm was an epic game, I played it all the way through back on the PS3 and when they released a PS4 version I grabbed a copy when it got cheap, (60.00 for a remaster, what was Randy Pitchfork thinking) I think the Polish developer People Can Fly made this game and it was sold as a gearbox game. doesn't anybody remember the hilarious parody of the Halo 3 diorama commercial?

what can gamers say? make more games for the consoles and PC, chasing after the easy, quick money of mobile gaming bit them in the hind quarters, Sega, up your game with some quality titles on platforms that happily and consistently pay for quality titles.
I cannot STAND when people that say "APPLE should buy" or "Microsoft should buy" That is the last thing that a consumer would want, the merging of giant companies, especially a scum companies like Apple and Microsoft.
RangerWalk267, Better for what? Does your Porsche 911 seat 4 adults, does it have a 15.8 cubic feet of trunk space? would you use your 911 as a courier vehicle and put 1200 miles a week on the OD? Is it more fuel efficient than an Accord? as reliable?
"Better" is relative.
I can assure you that no one has ever turned a Challenger Hellcat into a Yellow cab...because it would be stupid and wouldn't do the job better than a crown vic.
Even if that item was .25 cents, it wasn't worth it. battle royal games...meh.
