meh, I got "the surge" free a while back and I wasn't impressed.
Anyone who takes what Microsoft says at face value is foolish. They are serial lairs, and the kings of vaporware, Die hard MS fans eat it up constantly, their favorite phrase is "wait till the next E3" or "wait till MS releases their next gen console" or "cloud processing on the Xbox is going to blow away the competition".
Doesn't anybody get tired of these hollow claims of "secret sauce" that MS peddles every time a new console generation...
If they are serious, I'll believe it when I see a native Linux version.
If this is the future of console gaming, we're in trouble.
I really don't know why I got voted down, unless someone doesn't know what prevalent means....
at least you got what I meant! :)
I don't know anybody that owns an Xbox1...doesn't mean they aren't prevalent though, and this observation is about as useful as this poll.
"The End Of Traditional Games Consoles Starts Now"
No...No it's not....
I like hardware, and I don't really like the idea of paying Google a monthly fee to play a game. matter of fact, I'm not too fond of Google overall. (still better than Apple, though) :P
How are they going to make compelling content when they are so ideological possessed that any game more aggressive than peggle will go against what they believe? no guns, no knives, no death, no men, no women.....I can just Imagine an FPS from google, a bunch of "androgynous" characters running around with water balloons and "magic wands" as their only weapons and you get put into "time out" when you get hit by them. Blah, maybe they should just stay away from g...
@Eonjay,
Your insulting personal attacks de-legitimize your whole comment, Shame on you.
You have got to be kidding me.....March 10 is Mario day!!! bad enough that I have people calling me Mario most my whole life but, Mario day has to be on my Birthday!?!
AnthonyDavis "Games need to be $70 $80"
Your out of your mind, That pricing will kill the industry, The 60.00 dollar retail price isn't something that the industry just pulled out of a hat! There is market research done by every publisher , developer and console maker that came to that number. that is as much as you will be able to initially squeeze out of the average gaming consumer before they just wont purchase your game (with a few exceptions). or wait fo...
I get it, you love zombie games, enjoy them, If i made any mistakes, it's because I think zombie games suck. and even a chance of playing one has me placing the box back on the shelf. I really don't understand why you are so bizarrely passionate about this subject, it's just a stupid overplayed genre. go in peace and buy your zombie games... blah..
You did see that I wrote games and movies...I should have wrote tv as well, just because you (and others, apparently) get the warm fuzzies over Zombies, doesn't mean that the genre isn't played out in most media. I have to list Zombie games? I curse the day Valve released Left for dead back in 2008 because every dev and publisher jumped on the bandwagon.
this gen Zombie/the infected games
Dying light
The last of us
Deadlight
How to Survive...
Zombies...meh.
I'm getting tired of Zombies, Everybody whines about WW2 FPS but, I think the Zombie games/movies are Even MORE played out and boring.
And here I thought Thomas the tank engine was the creepiest thing in the video...
let's see if these studios even exist two years into the next gen.
How much of a saint will Phil Spenser be when they shutter Ninja Theory?
"Can you really replace your gaming PC with an entirely cloud based system?"
...no.
Shall "I HAIL THE AMBER LAMPS!" as well?....wait.
I really like Warframe...and I really don't like Warframe, The game would have been a much better game if it had a different model than "free to play", The grinding is sooooo boooring. it takes forever to get any cool weapons and if you decided to just buy the things you like (that's how they get you) you will be blowing way more money than if the game was a full blown retail copy....and what is the fun in buying stuff?
