Actually ea needs the ps3 market a hell of alot more than ps3 owners need ea, well except madden and fight night fans, short of bioware and pandemics games. I can't think of a single game from ea that has me interested in the slightest, i lied maybe tiberium.
If ff13 was a bomb dropping for 360 owners thats sad, while it is good news for rpg lovers on the 360, that they will be able to play ff13 on the 360 and thats it.
The only people that would consider that a bomb dropped, would be 360 fanboys rubbing it in the faces of ps3 fanboys. FF13 being ported to the 360 will not affect me looking forward to it in the slightest when it is released in the us for the ps3.

Having said that nintendo's need to find something worthwhile to brag about, because games on the wii ain't it. And since we are being fanboys here, when the wii decides to have a respectable online system and a practical storage solution it will be acknowledged as a next gen and not merely a gc 1.5 with a new control scheme

If flash memory is the answer why bother updating the wii to have a large flash memorty storage. Have nintendo stop circle jerking each other, the wii update the firmware to allow you to store content on a usb flash drive, or easier still read capacities above what is it 2 gigs?
Just looking at newegg i see several 4 gig usb flash drives for 20-30 dollars after shipping.

Sorry but when nintendo finally gets its online in a respectable form, ie drops friend codes and uses actual names for players. As well as solves their storage solution problems, then it really will be next gen regardless of it's lower graphics capabilities, not stuck somewhere between last and this generation's standards.
Actually it caused an angry wtf moment and then i realized oh well, at least we are getting a game designed from the ground up to run as good as possible(in relative terms) on the ps3 and not a halfed assed port.

The problem is that was designed to run on hardware from 8-9 years ago, hardware wise the wii is several times more powerful than the ps2 which doesn't say much.
I think the thing that some wii owners forget, is that not all wii owners view gamecube/ps2 graphics as acceptable/enjoyable in regards to the generation we are in, or the hardware specs of the wii.
While i doubt wii owners ever expect to see ps3 or 360 levels graphics, however i would be willing to bet ...

Even as a graphics whore i have to disagree on one thing, nintendo would not need to have hd graphics to cater to their hardcore gamers(they already know it isn't a high end console).
They do however need good solid games, action/adventure, rpgs, mature(something more complicated than a 5 yr old can handle), yes third parties are slow making these, but the question is will they sell enough for sequels/new ips.

Well 15 million in marketing dollars, it seems worked too well, and turned many people off it by overhyping it. I bought the game fuel because i enjoy mountain dew, needless to say i had to force myself to finish it. When they release crappy soda to hype a game up, it's getting on the overboard side.

Thats a boneheaded statement considering console hardware is locked down, and by pc standards it would be no longer top of the line. So how much did your pc cost, sorry i'll take gaming on my 40 inch tv vs a 19 inch computer monitor.
Alot of former pc only devs have switched to making console games as well because the potential market is too large to ignore. The only thing coming out for pc, that i care about is diablo 3 and if it comes to console so much the better.
