In a way I wish it took time to kill someone similar to Halo to an extent. I wish people didn't die as quickly as they do in this game.
Also, the best Mario game in my opinion was Mario 64. That game had everything you would want in a Mario game and a 2D Mario game wouldn't be able capture all of the essence like Mario 64 did. I will say Mario 3 is up there as well but I am VERY excited for the new Mario on the Switch.
In all honesty, it makes a lot of sense, to have these things for trophies. The best thing you can do in gaming is give people "something" for when they achieve something. Imagine if all side quests, errands and jobs gave the player something worth while? I think people would stop complaining about fetch side quests and etc. Imagine doing some boring fetch quest but in return you get a pretty cool Modification for your weapon or a new weapon in general? People complain about things ...
It looks aamzing! I just feel like you NEED other people to play this game.
As of right now Crackdown 3 is a tech demo, every time they show something they show buildings blowing up, which is awesome but that isn't a game. I have a weird feeling since they had to do a 180 on the always online that changed Crackdown 3's development because that whole game is about servers. I will say Sea Of Thieves looks to be really good and I am excited about that.
I agree with you because BL 1 was soo new and refreshing and I actually platinumed BL 1. It was a game where I had 3 different saves because I was playing it with 3 different people. When BL 2 was out, we already know what the game will be about because of the first one. I was just Borderlands out at that point. I felt like I already played this game (BL2) before. It was more polished and with a better story.
Did you see a side by side comparison from that E3 trailer to the actual game? The actual game actually looks better because they added visual effects and made the mood of the scene much better. The E3 trailer actually looks dull and bland but of course in 2005 that was a big thing. I always thought what you thought too. I just watched it again and I think you need to re watch that because Killzone 2 the actual game looks much better than that. When I say looks I am talking about the atmospher...
The only thing I was worried about was that there was no sensitivity control for the camera or aiming. That made me very nervous because I usually always have to have it faster. You can't tell from watching other people playing you just have to find out yourself. I am SOO happy to say how smooth the combat and game play is. I love the hit detection as well. The game doesn't cater to you (of course it guides you to the mission) in combat. The rabbits don't just stop all of a sudden...
I use to work at Best Buy and the ones that sold the most were the Sony's MP3 player (because they were the cheapest and people knew Sony). When I use to show the people the Zune, the UI was literally the reason why people didn't get into it. I didn't blame them at all because it was awful. Of course, you can get use to it and it isn't a problem but when it comes to actually buying a product the UI is the first thing they get to see.
A fun little story, whe...
I am pretty sure Breath of The Wild isn't Nintendo's first 3D open world game lol
It is all about how fast you are able to walk throughout the map. For an example, in Far Cry Primal the map looked big but you could get around pretty quickly so it was pretty small in actuality. We won't know until we actually play it.

That is what I was thinking, I have no idea how the development of a game works but wouldn't you think they would of realized that playing coop would make it super easier and they should change the AI. You could of add more enemies, more aggressive or defensive. You could have them take more hits or hit harder if you want to be really cheap with it lol. All of a sudden the last second (not even we heard about this at the time it came out) they took something out. I personally, don't c...
They are making it harder to play with friends, you still can coop the entire game with random people. Now if you want to play with a friend, one person must of completed that level in order for the two friends to coop. In my opinion, that is silly because you still can coop with random people anytime you want, it is just harder to do it with people you know.
I have a speech impediment and voice command doesn't work well with me unless it is very basic.
I will never forget the time my brother and his friend was talking about this game Demon Souls, an action RPG witch I never played a RPG before but the sound of the game was incredible. I never ended up beating Demon Souls but boy oh boy did I destroy Dark Soul 1 and later ones. It is just incredible what a game can do that no one expected, I just think about a modern day shooter or action adventure game that is similar to Dark Souls (not in setting but concept).

Not all console games have aim-assist.... You can leave Socom out on that list, thank you
I do miss developers showing off their physics and features that is new to the gaming world. Like you said, this isn't anything new at all but it is in the right direction. I rather see this stuff than some gorgeous view that isn't even game play...

How can you even say that the Gamecube had a reasonable controller that was close to the PS2 and Xbox!?

What they need to do is start by showing some first party titles that look exciting and new. Just look at the original Xbox, Dreamcast, beginning of the PS3, all of them had more power than the competition but lacked in games. It is very easy to stay in this industry... make games.
