He is exactly that, a PR guy and in theory he isn't wrong. Halo 5 has sold around 5 million copies which is a lot for an exclusive so you can say that is one of the BIGGEST exclusive and people come to Xbox for Halo. He is definitely stretching the truth really badly which is why almost everyone on here is agreeing with one another and not him.
Well, a huge patch just came out for the game recently so articles will be coming because of it.
@Moldybread
"Third person is often stupid, you can see around corners and walls taking away any element of surprise."
I never said more of a surprise, but 3pp doesn't take away the element of surprise. The guy running aimlessly around will be surprised by guys who are behind cover who can see them.
What do you mean take away any element of surprise!? That is the exact opposite actually, you will get huge surprises since someone could be stalking to you the whole time and you don't know it at all. You have to be more cautious in a 3pp (3rd person perspective) and look every where before just running out into the open. Of course, some people don't like to do that and just want to play and run around.
Just saw a long video of the beginning of the game for Hellblade and it looks to be much better than I thought. When I say better just very plot heavy which I like a lot.
I wish I had more time with the Beta. There is a learning curve but the games feels smooth and feels good when you drop someone. I just won't be able to play it until the 15th :(
Hype is a made up thing that people make inside their heads, based on what they see and/or hear. Of course, you can have games like No Man Sky which the developers lied about game play features to hype it up. The most part, what you see is what you get. Hype comes from within. When you read a review make sure you know that person and what he/she likes before judging. A review can be a great way to figure something out but if you have someone you really dislikes 3rd person shooters and is revi...
I do get what you are coming from but I have to disagree. I have no problem games becoming open world games. It makes the immersion so much better. Of course, if there is nothing to do in the open world you are going to get some hate for that. That video we seen did seem a little boring and I am a little worried but it is a DW game so having to travel somewhere even though maybe boring might bring these Kingdoms to life a little more. If you want to make tea just pause the game, that isn'...
According to people that this game is more closely like Quake 3 or Unreal Tournament than Overwatch. I must say that they are right. The only similarity I feel, is that it is a class based FPS. What does he bitch about the company (Epic?)? I truly don't know just wondering.
Why?
I really don't like the fireflies guiding you to the monster. The game isn't called Monster Guiding...
I don't think I would ever hear or read someone say they would rather have a loading screen than actually playing a game. People surprise me every day lol
Dynasty Warrior games are super fun if you want a mindless game just to relax and level up your character, nothing wrong with that. Word of advice don't look down on people who play something that you don't.
The fact that a stagger is a form of an animation. Taking a step to the side or whatever isn't them getting staggered though. A step would be a defensive move to try and evade you or stop you from getting a combo in. In the video you can hear the enemy gett...
Ninja Theory is hardly a big developer either though. You are right some of the animations weren't perfect but once again when looking at the whole picture it isn't Janky at all. We will see though, we only saw so much of this game so far.
You also have to remember that will totally ruin the flow of the game. If everything gets staggered then you are talking about a hack N slash game. What is the point of evasive moves when you can just attack to interrupt their attack? Also, if a bigger enemy is aggressive and attacking you, their adrenaline is going to make them not get staggered in general. If you want that type of game you may need to play Dynasty Warriors.
Even if you don't like these type of games you can't deny the quality of this game is set high for being a small developer.
I want slow combat because not many games rely on slowness. Even Dark Souls and Bloodborne are pretty fast paced combat. Of course, you CAN go slow if you want to. Who knows if they showed us all of the combat moves. This could be just the tutorial section of the game. I do want to wait to see what other people say about this game. It does look promising and I do like the developers a lot as well.
The slow motion part just seems way to often and like someone said, they need to drop a little quicker. I love the style of this game though. I like how it is up close and personal.
Having A James Bond game that is similar to how Socom 2 SP worked would be very cool. The only thing you know is what the Intel you have on the missions. There are extra Intel in each mission to help you with future missions but the game doesn't tell you where or how many different bonus missions there are. Even the primary missions they don't tell you really what to do you just have to know by reading the Intel. One mission in Socom 2 I needed to find the secret entrance place to the...
With off set sticks your accuracy decreases compared to parallel sticks. Of course, if you have long fingers off set sticks help with that.
