Sorry...wrong reply.
@sad truth,
Each man to his own. So, using your logic, anyone who doesn't find Halo dull a fanboy?
@saberedge,
Alright, call it "BS" all you want, but can you find a "good" rebuttal and not some fanboy drivel response to his points?
I totally agree with Giganinja. Just because your level got DELETED doesn't always mean it was because due to copyright infringement, as many other variables are obviously involved in this. Still, Sony and/or MM must make a statement regarding this situation, as until they make so, it's just a hysteria that can dampen the game's success.
If that's the case, then, it's wasn't really Sony or Media Molecule's fault to begin. In this day of age, if people know you're a big company and came out with something successful, some a-hole is bound to find a way to milk money out of you. As a matter of fact, I'm not sure about it, but if I were to say "PS3" or "Xbox360" without the "R" thing I'm bound to get in trouble. The only difference? I'm not exactly a "cash cow" and it would be more of ...
I think the article was simply going to exaggerations, as those "copyrighted material-inspired" levels *STILL EXIST* and those deleted levels only pertains to offensive levels and/or random "offensive level" reporters.
Congratulations to Epic for a huge opening sale!!
MS is desperately trying to "topple" (I'm trying hard not to laugh) LBP with a game that has graphics quality that jumps between Atari 2600 and N64?
What's next? A "Home"-style plan with Wii-avatar look alikes? Oh, wait...
Thanks for the reply that C&C is going to the PS3! :)
I've been too busy at my work for me to even to have had noticed it...considering there are way too many articles in this site, and only 60% are worth looking at!
In other news: Woo-hoo!! This is the SECOND time I nearly freakin' got a 360 just for a single game...first Bioshock, now Command and Conquer!
I'm surprised, considering the demo from the PSN made me think that this was Ubisoft's poor attempt at making a Command and Conquer wannabe.
Then again, I'm a Command and Conquer fanboy, and C&C is the only game worth buying a 360 for (in my own personal case, as I only own a PS3 and I'm a PS3 fanboy to boot).
Thanks for your opinion, you get a "free" report from me! :)
lol...definitely agree on that one.
If the author thinks that BR is dead simply because there is an economic slump, then we might as well conclude that HDTV is dead...those damn things are expensive as hell. If people don't care about HD movies, then they shouldn't care about HDTVs as well since they are already content with their SDTVs.
Stupid, stupid, stupid....
Jrome basically answered your question which is basically the technical reality, and you act like a freakin' kid by asking him the same freakin' question again!! Just get out of my beloved site.
Well, if they are going to say that the consumers aren't interested in HD movies, then they might as well say that HDTVs are just as a fad and sooner or later everybody will just go back to SDTVs. Why? Because HDTVs are freakin' expensive!! Geez, all of these anti-BluRay articles are just pissing me off!!
Sorry but a teddy bear DOESN'T count as a "5 year old" kid. I give you credit for being delusional and imaginative for thinking that you have a kid, though.
Being a stealth troll, eh?
"when a true gamer gets on..."
So you're accusing people who did like this game (puttsing aside fanboyism here) as not "true" gamers?
Hooray for LBP!! :)
I'll be frankly honest with you that they were simply trying to get rid of their stocks of "less popular" games.
@bodhi,
What Murkerr meant by "replacement" consoles is the number of brand-new 360 consoles that 360 owners bought FROM retail stores to replace their broken down 360s, NOT the refurbished consoles that MS sent to their owners.
Read between the lines.
