@sarcasm,
Negative!!
Just because you have a knife doesn't mean you would be "lighter". If you've played the game, you'll notice that you're STILL carrying your pistol, rifle, and ammo with you. Of course, just because you're currently using a knife DOESN'T mean that your pistol, grenade, rifle, and ammo suddenly (and magically) disappeared in order to make "light as a feather".
How about this quick experiment: Strap a couple of 20...
What is even funnier is that the same 360 fanboys were the same people who dismissed complaints of broken Gears 2 MP as a "made up" fantasy of PS3 people who never even touched the game!
@tplarkin,
In order for your argument to be valid, you would have to provide proof that GG was trying to be another COD clone at the very beginning. Unless you provide evidence of the developers saying so, your lame fanboyish comment would have the same value/weight of a fart after eating a bad cheese burrito.
Oh yeah totally!!
Innovation, as I had said in some article yesterday, has been abused and taken out of context by the gaming industry and media. Innovation is now nothing more than a cheap tactic to describe whether a game is good or bad. Hell, I won't even be surprised if Bungie starts rehasing their Halo franchise with different numbers but same old crap and yet 360 fanboys would still label each successive game as "innovative"!
@sarcasm,
I want to respectfully ask you if this "lag" that you're talking about is from the demo. The reason is that some demo downloads, as confirmed by someone from the N4G forums, were "glitchy". I've played both the demo and the retail, and there were no lag inputs in any of my gametime. That also includes the MP in both the beta and the retail.
The MGS series, and MGS4 is no exception, is one of the few single-player games that I don't mind playing more than once. The trophy is just another great icing on the great! :)
Watch out...haters will label you as a "blind sheep" for that comment of yours!
You know, if you think that this is a PS3 fanboy site and you don't like it, THEN LEAVE!! No one's forcing you to be in this great community!
Oh...the common sense of such people!!
@Xlive gamer,
Seriously, the word "innovative" has been abused in the gaming industry and media for the longest time. What really constitute as an "innovation" in an FPS game? And any "innovation" pointed by others will be always be viewed as &q...
I can't say it any better!
360degrees is pissed off right now that Halo Wars got 6.5 from Gamespot; probably had to re-buy GTAIV for the DLC; and that the DLC for Fallout 3 was crappy as hell.
In short, he's in depressed mode right now, so give him a break!
OMG...I see BOOBIES!! I'm going to burn in HELL!!
Dude...same thing, except those pics from Gamespot are more washed out!
*reads headlines and score, rolls eyes, and smirks*
Damn the haters...FOUR MORE DAYS...HOOAH!!
Killzone 2 as potential Game of the Year!! That's right, baby!!
Me want this game now!!
Apparently you weren't probably even born yet during the Atari era. With no "real" competitor around, Atari was virtually the "Bill Gates" of the video game history. And what happened?
Without any competition to motivate anyone to innovate, the home console/video game industry stagnated to the point that the DEVELOPERS resorted to making trash games for the Atari 2600 (the infamous Atari ET anyone?) in hopes of making quick cash. Why? Because developers di...
Yeah...hype and expectations means different things to different people. Some people are turned off by COD4, but it still doesn't change the fact that COD4 is an awesome game.
And no, watching a demo being streamed in low res from a sight (basically a video of a video) doesn't, and never will, show the full graphics of a game.
Yup, and no freakin' "Halo Bunny Hoppers" either!
The EPIC music!!
Granted, the first Killzone wasn't anything as it was hyped to be, but the music of the first game (theme song to be returning on the second game) was epic!
If you want to know what it's like, especially those who never picked up the first and/or never played the beta, then search "killzone theme" or "killzone soundtrack" in YouTube and you'll see!
KILLZONED!!
LOL
Not surprising, considering Europeans play a lot more racing games much the same way Americans spend a whole lot of time on shooters.
