"It's not something that we're talking about right now. We're just very focused on the launch line-up. We showed some other new games at E3 this year, like the new Star Wars game, the Forza Kinect game, but the stuff we're talking about now is already announced titles."

I'm not much of a PC gamer, The Witcher is about it, but;
"The Halo team, instead of taking another controller for an existing device and pushing it over to a new interface, made a first-person shooter exclusively for that device, from the ground up. And the game was awesome, so now everybody plays them on controllers and hardly anybody plays first-person shooters on the PC any more."

I have a distaste for articles that make you load an unnecessary second page.
Please give me two hits, pleeeaaaassse.
I'd love to interview Kudo if his response times were like Kinect. I've always wanted to talk to someone face to face and pretend I'm on a satellite phone :D
Pinch of salt for Mac_Sparrow?
Thank you
The price hike and subsequent 'renew now and save' deal is very clever. A great way to lock people in again early before subs run out and people consider the value proposed by the scheme.
Indeed it is, you know you've got a bit of an issue when you watch a large and varied sample of customers using one at a demo pod; and using the analogue stick on the virtual keypad as with the D-pad they can't get to the letter they want.
However, as an observer, it's damn funny.
We used to use the stick to enter the serial numbers when wiping traded in machines too.
Other than that, though personally I prefer the DS3 layout of ...
I don't personally believe the price hike is worth it, but then I'm of the opinion that Live isn't worth the fee it currently costs either.
You can argue that the price has remained constant since launch and that features have been added, but this is a marketing issue. Value added propositions are what entice and help secure customers, and mostly these are trivial things.
I'm not saying that all of the additions are trivial, but items such as ...
my apologies to those who have come to expect reasoned comments from me, but it's just too tempting when Pappy is posting preemptive 'facts' like some sort of future sailor.
A sailor from the future... it's quite a simple concept.
"I will bet that Nintindo is not worried the least about the Move. But I am positive that they are looking at Kinect and going "Aah...OoH, we have a problem here".
Only true once the Nintendo execs buy one and try to play a game on it.
To spell it out for you Pappy, "We have a problem here, the damn thing doesn't do what we were told and isn't any fun."
Let me feel the disagree rain people, RAIN IT DOWN ON ME...
A Hannah Montana on rails game would kick arse (yes I'm English).
...oh, you didn't mean with her tied to a railway track?
Damn
"Sebastian, cancel the piano music."
Endorphins are involved.

True, addictions aren't easy to stop.
But when I had a drink problem and realised it was time to stop I stopped. Didn't touch a drop for over 3 months from that moment, and I was drinking a bottle a day before.
Yes addictions are tough, but don't act like willpower and help/advice doesn't exist.
Interesting post Alpha.
The thumbs hitting each other isn't an issue if you place the tip of your thumbs on the analogue stick, with your thumbs arched. This is the way it was designed to be used as it allows more control over actions as your digits are flexed.
In regard to the small hands comment, my fiancé is now a gamer and she has small hands. She had to learn to use the DS3 slightly differently to normal. Give her a 360 pad and it'd be came...
One of the changes I didn't agree with, it was completely unnecessary.
Apart from disappointment at the lack of codec calls and this change MGS4 was flawless.
yup, I remember seeing it and thinking "well, they wouldn't change the Dualshock for no good reason".
At the time I worked in a GAME store (urgh) and the amount of people who came in to mention how it looked awful, and said almost word for word the criticisms some sites had listed.
Funny how after about 5 seconds of talking and making them stop to think they agreed with me.
that depends on your country. US, legal. Uk, illegal for example. In the UK it's technically even illegal to rip a cd to an mp3 player
Copying games that you own is indeed illegal, especially if it requires the circumnavigating of copy protection software.
I'm afraid fair use does not have a posse. :(
wouldn't be an issue, as MS would cease the bans after the actual release, meaning if they played it after this time then clock settings would be irrelevant.
As said before I'm not Microsoft's biggest fan, and I understand the Live hike being an issue; but how exactly does the Mass Effect 2 re-release for PS3 affect Reach?
Surely you were looking at the Reach bundle as you like the look of Reach, otherwise you'd just buy a standalone machine right?
