Sully is fantastic.
"Borrowed it off a couple of pirates who were too dead to care." and the "I like this one better" moment is brlliant.
Nate gets a good line off the back of Sully too:
Victor Sullivan: Nate, let's just pretend for a minute that I don't really care about any of that and cut to the chase will ya?
Nathan Drake: Man only interested in the climax. You must be a real hit with the ladie...
good to see another fan of so many of the lines. The kids at the school I work at are surprised to find out I'm a gamer, then more surprised that I love MGS, then doubtful that I'm in MGS2, then jealous when they google me.
It's quite funny to watch.
In a proper reply to your post, I think that may just be the best possible way they could have finished that bit.
@King-Leonidas
I had that bit as my text message tone for while, getting messages in Tesco's with that on is hilarious.
That fight is awesome, two tired old men who are too stubborn to give in, and one who idolises the other and wants to test himself just brutally slugging it out.
A very fitting end to the playable section, and one that I sometimes load the game up just to play.
tried, I still get shaped!
And all I want it for are tv shows that I could record on sky+ but would rather media stream around the house using ps3.
exactly holyorangecows. The thing is I played lair and it controlled fine. You just have to accept that you're flying a dragon, which is expected to have a larger turning circle than a fighter plane.
Those who whined about sixaxis implementation in Lair just have no finesse.
a wild generalisation there; I rent games that I deem not worth the investment.
For example, having tried Enslaved demo and having it refuse to let me leave a dodge tutorial as I'd already killed the enemy, coupled with Ninja Theory's churlish attitude to their existing fans I have decided to rent, rather than buy; and while I admit I'm particularly fond of rum, wooden legs and Psittaciformes I am not in fact, a pirate.
that's not true.
They would have this game, the deliberately cut DLC out, the sequel, and be working on the Kinect abomination.
On topic, what a difference a day (or three) makes.
It's a sad day when this post is one of the most sane in recent news articles about this delay. This actual thread seems to be populated by much more rational people though (on the whole).
I'm not a fan of GT, but I have sympathy for those that are. Personally I find this reason to be the most believable, we've known for a long time that BD pressing windows are tight due to the factory needing different machinery from DVD; however without these differences Blu-Ra...
You're right,I should just pirate the movie and be happy with that right?
Happy that I'm stealing. I agree with you it's a much better idea than watching the movie via a perfectly legal promotion, with so little effort involved that I don't even need to find a tracker.
Oh, that and my ISP throttles p2p traffic even if it's encrypted so would actually take me longer.
God damn I wish I was as smart as you.
you're right Deadeye, they sicken me with their smash and grab, release it buggy fix it five years later quick buck approach to the industry.
I too will buy this because of the co-op AND I TOO DON'T GIVE A DAMN IF PEOPLE DON'T LIKE IT.
Sorry, couldn't resist.
I'd join that, wouldn't miss out on as many excellent games as you might think. Yes, Arkham would be one but try coming up with lots of others that are going to be brilliant.
Of course it wouldn't stop companies using middleware, they'd only move to another at the absolute most. Therefore I must unfortunately accept that some games will look like I'm playing with action man figures and avoid these in my games are for all ages arguments.
Haha, I can just imagine that ending scene now, playing on Angel Summoner's PS1.
Brilliant, thanks for the laugh.
Thanks Drillbit.
Did you know abierto means "open"?
excellent. Remember to say it every time though, especially when climbing onto a giant metal surface in a thunder storm and wrapping cables round your wrists.
Ah Volgin, such a violent and foolish bisexual.
Well I'm glad they admitted it.
because Enslaved hasn't achieved the level of hype that they anticipated yet.
Fair enough, one thing I am sick of is Ninja Theory. I loved Heavenly Sword, but as I said in a previous post all their constant bashing of it makes me feel like they think I'm mentally challenged for enjoying it.
Oh and as far as Enslaved goes, I was playing the demo, got to the combat tutorial. As it loaded the dodge move, after the attack section, I killed the enemy a split second before. Cue game freeze as it won't let me perform the dodge move.
D...
I have to admit, when I got my two controllers I didn't even calibrate them via XMB. Just synced them and played, worked flawlessly.
I see you are very good at fooottttbaaalllllll.
