...said the guy who calls 360 fans by a derogatory name. Funny, you say you "smell" hatred, cuz I just read it.
ROFLCOPTER! Man, that just improved my day. Effing hilarious.
Here's hoping the business tanks.
Everyone knows that they dropped the rumble feature after the copyright infringement case brought against them. Just like everyone knows that the motion sensing bit was designed to compete with the Wii. I'd prefer they just left this point moot instead of trying to sweep everything under the rug.
Just so I'm clear, a forum post about Z.O.E. 3 info is somehow news worthy? I don't care who gets the next-gen PES6 when, but I don't know how this constitutes new-worthy info at this point. Seems a bit too vague to have made it through the approval process.
Can I get a refund on the IQ points and precious time that I'll now never get back on account of this silly bickering? Who cares whose console can beat up whose. If you hadn't noticed, you're just digging each other's trenches here. Remember, gaming should be fun. Stop killing it.
You're absolutely right. I think they'll go the route they did with the mobile version: http://www.elderscrolls.com...
I'm a big fan of MS's Xbox Live campaign. I think they're really delivering their promises directly to the gamers and taking accountability for those promises. So far they haven't let me down once.
This is a great game to have available at launch, so kudos to you. I know a lot of you are genuinely thrilled. I will say it's funny that some of the Sony crowd I've seen posting on this suddenly think Oblivion's worth having now that it's coming their way, when before it was, "Who needs Oblivion?! That game sucks. Gimme FFXIII." Oh, how the worm has turned. I'll just say that if I were in Sony's camp, I'd be stoked to have this one coming my way.
Wow. That's a huge steal.
Um, it wasn't so much a review as it was his impressions. And considering he's played the game while you haven't, I'd put more stock in his impressions than I would yours. He at least has a frame of reference while you only have hype and hope.
Shouldn't the title be "Three Gamers Applaud the PS3"? Honestly, three out of thousands does not a thorough canvasing make.
Well, this only denies console exclusivity. It doesn't deny a time-exclusivity deal.
So, it sounds like it'll only be 4-on-4 for multiplayer. That's not a big deal to me, but I know a number of friends that were looking for 16. I'm assuming they're making sacrifices in this area to maximize the visuals during online play, rather than going the GRAW route and scaling down visuals to ensure smooth 16-player games. The best news in this though is the online co-op support. Should be a blast regardless of what online mode you're playing.
Now THAT looks purdy. Great looking game.
I'm sure most of the Japanese will wait until December when the 360 will be bundled with Blue Dragon. So don't get too excited by Joystiq's numbers next week.
See Lalaland's response below. And I quote:
"Blu-Ray is the next gen movie-disc format supported by the majority of moviestudios and hardware manufacturers around the world, and it is via the PS3 able to output in 1080p or True HD -- no upscaling but 1:1 pixelmapping.?"
Funny, I thought BluRay was for games?
Didn't we already read about this:

The Xbox and 360 versions are being developed separately. The 360 version is being developed by UbiSoft Shanghai while Montreal is working on the Xbox version. If you don't believe me, compare some screens. The 360 version will be taking advantage of the assets, I assure you.
I'm guessing this will be a similar situation to Pandora Tomorrow and Chaos Theory. After the first Splinter Cell, UbiSoft had their Shanghai team get to work on Pandora Tomorrow so that they could start devel...
The reason that Sony decided not to include the rumble feature is because of the fact that Immersion Corp was cleaning their clock (and wallet) in the courtroom over copyright infringement.
"In the last ruling against Sony, made in early 2005, Judge Claudia Wilken of the U.S. District Court levied an $82 million award to Immersion Corp., or 1.37% of Sony's sales of PlayStations and PlayStation-related paraphernalia. The $82 million is less than the $299 million originally ...
