If Halo 3 couldn't do it, Gears 2 definitely won't drive up 360 sales significantly for any long period of time.
The difference there is that EA doesn't own Crytek. Crytek had all the freedom they wanted with Crysis. EA only published it.
Then developers should start using services like Steam. Steam games are subject to much less widespread piracy because of increased checks and virtual impossibility of playing online.
Why don't you take a look at Sims and Simcity sales and say that again?
love how easily Obama has brain-washed the gullable youth of this nation. "Yes , we can!" How about, "Yes, we will!" All I've heard out of his mouth is promises. No concrete details on how to do most of his proposals, and being afraid of actually bringing them up in debates. When was the last time we had someone do this? Why, our current President! What an awesome choice that was, my fellow Americans!

I agree, there's loads of 360s at my local Toys R Us.
Typical MS propaganda, lie to make themselves look better than they are.
Don't make a bad port of an already bad game.
Is this a first in America?
This isn't good...
If intel dominates the CPU industry, and nvidia GPU, consumers will be in a bad position.
I feel glad I didn't splurge on a PhysX card...
Sounds good, can't wait to play this and Mass Effect.
A million as of two weeks ago:

The Witcher sold more than a million in its first month:
http://n4g.com/pc/News-8196...
C&C 3 sold more than a million on the PC in its first month, WOW sold over 2.2 million retail copies on its FIRST day.
Steam sales are up over 158% ...
Explain how Crysis, the most demanding game on the planet, has already outsold a million copies. Or how Steam's online sales went up more than 150% last year. PC gamers aren't disappearing, we just don't want redone old games.
If you shove a graphical remake of a 2004 game down our throats, no one's going to like that. So, Epic, the consoles can keep Gears of War 6 and Unreal Tournament 27, we'll be having fun with some real innovative games like Spore and Crysis.
Because we all know what XBox "exclusive" really means nowadays, ;)
Anyone else find it how close to PCs consoles are getting?
Today its "only 5 GB downloads," in four years, you're going to be looking at keyboards and mice coming standard with them. (Obviously joking, but you see my point?)
Is it just me, or is the PC having an awesome news day?
First Spore release date, then Mass Effect for the PC, now this? What's next, Star Wars TIE Fighter 2? ;)
And I wouldn't. At least a million people bought Crysis, so some people definitely think differently from you. This is all your opinion, what's your point? There are lots of gamers on the PC, and although we don't buy everything day one, sales on our platform historically accumulate at a much more steady pace than console games. Just look at sales numbers for Gears of War or even Halo 3 now, they're winding down.
After Lost Odyssey and Blue Dragon, I think good JRPG exclusives on the 360 are doomed to fail.
