They're still making you pay on the console versions?
The map pack has been free on the pc for nearly half a year already...
Correct me if I'm wrong, but I thought the Windows business was much more essential to MS than their entire gaming divison...
The only dev I'd think they want would be Epic....
Think its possible?
@ THWIP
Intel doesn't care how much games it sells. Project Offset is going to be a hardware seller, so that Intel can get into the graphics card market.
Offset Sotfware has unlimited funds now (nearly), I doubt they'll care about piracy as much as other devs.
Warhead won't sell well?
The original Crysis has sold over 1.5 million copies, and Warhead is less demanding plus launching with only a $30 price tag
Looks pretty bad. Like something a photoshop artist would throw together after a few hours.
Its a 360 exclusive, chances are GT is going to rate it high.
I'm sure it would have gotten around an 8 if it was on PS3.
No. It was a PC-lead game from the start, with a 360 port announced before the developer got bought by Intel.
I hope its an amazing game too. And I hope it'll bring people back to high-end PC gaming.
They're only courting console developers so that they could get more multi-plat games to support their hardware.
I'm sure they will make more money from selling discrete cards than giving discounted chips to MS for the next Xbox.
The next Britney Spears? (in terms of intelligence)
Isn't this advertising for pirates? What's the point of writing such specific articles so quickly if not to get more people to torrent?
Unless I'm mistaken, Metacritic and Gamerankings agree that Half-life 2 is the best shooter in the world.
If this is true, you know you just contributed to its piracy?
Yes, they're making console games besides the Crysis franchise, which will stay PC exclusive.
This has been known since before Crysis was even released...
Statix, running the engine is not the same as running a game on that engine with specifically designed levels and environments.
Cryengine 2, in its most basic form, can be USED on consoles. however, the complexity and scope of Crysis CANNOT be replicated this generation
With 7 patches, the game is as bugfree and complete as anyone can ask for.
No duh?
More PCs are sold each month than the 360 will sell in its lifetime...
Didn't this game launch with sales of 700,000?
I know drop-offs were expected, but Funcom better get that huge update out if they ever want to compete with WOW...
@battleaxe
There's over 30,000 players on the PC version right now, hardly dead.
