The story and dialogue in Halo 2 was probably some of the best in the series though imo. Campaign was a let down I guess, especially the ending, but learning about the Covenant was really cool. Music was amazing as well.

There is no legendary edition, been confirmed since the limited edition was announced. Only regular edition and the limited edition, and also the Halo 4 console. Thats it.

I really don't give a crap about my K/D as much as some people. Sure I'd like to get more kills than deaths in order to win the match, but I'm not gonna focus my attention on my K/D or start focusing on kills during objective gametypes to boost my K/D.
They already announced the price so I don't see them dropping it. They are still selling consoles so I don't see if they need to, but then again the wii u does release this year....
You need to go get both those OST's then, I'm sure you'll love them.
I enjoyed Halo 2 and ODST's soundtracks more than Halo 3. Halo 3 had a few great songs though.

I'm pretty sure Reach's legendary stuff was also only streamable on waypoint. It was the campaign walkthrough with Marty and some other guys from Bungie.
