Looks like N4G hasn't changed in the slightest.
Spartan Ops is definitely a step up from the the first half of season 1.
I'm a huge Halo fan since day 1, so I was really surprised that I lost interest in playing within a few months. The multiplayer direction is not what I hoped for, Infinity has made matches too random. Slayer Pro was a great playlist and even that was taken out.
However, news of a new playlist with no Personal Ordnance, Respawn Timers back in, no Join in Progress, Pre set loadouts ha...
It's still the same season, just the second half of the first season. Remains to be seen whether we'll be getting a second season. Of course they'll be charging if there will be.
And yes, they've definitely stepped up for the second half. Missions play out more like campaign missions, its actually pretty fun now. Also, the CG episodes just keep getting better.
2015? No, it will have to be this year. We only know of one exclusive from MS this year and that comes out in March. Along with that, Major Nelson has posted a countdown to e3 on his blog which means big things are coming.
360 will still sell even after the next xbox releases, much like ps2 did after ps3 came out. The difference this time is that MS won't completely ditch the 360 like they did the original xbox.
It's time for a new console, 2015 is w...
This website was a great place before it became N4G. There were 3 separate websites, one for each console maker. Eventually they put them together to create N4G, and then the trolling and fanboyism just went out of control.
I stop by every once in a while, this website is a nice place to get your news all in one place but the community for the most part is just embarrassing.
I'm all for sharing opinions and stuff but many comments go way beyond that and ...
Microsoft won't delay Gears this time. First of all its a side project, not a main Gears game, so I don't think they are depending on it too much to sell. Gears 3 was delayed to make time for a beta, and also because they didn't have much to launch that fall. This time it may be different.
If the rumours are true which seems very likely, the next xbox will be launching at the end of next year. No way would they launch a current gen game at that time.
Loving Forza Horizon, it really exceeded my expectations. I was hesitant at first because of the change in direction, but it worked. I have yet to try out NFS Most Wanted, although it looks very much like Burnout Paradise. Although Paradise was a great game, I really don't consider it a "racing game." More like a driving game where crashing is a very large focus. I absolutely loved the original most wanted, but this one doesn't look anything like it. I'll definitely try ...
It really doesn't scream next-gen to me. Looks current, but then again maybe the earlier games won't blow us away like this gen did at the beginning.
Or the contributors could do a better job at accepting news stories.
Lucky you, I'm in Canada so I won't be able to pick it up for so cheap. I'll wait a bit and get it though, busy with other games anyway.
I don't see how a game's price during Black Friday is a clear sign of how well it's selling. I picked up AC Revelations last year for $20, I guess it was a massive failure as well.
It's off the Halo 4 remix soundtrack, I think the song is called Arrival(Remix).
People are still on about this? Learn to write something useful instead of complaining all the time.
That would have created some disadvantages for MP.
I have yet to read Thursday War, still have to pick it up. Other than that, I'm all caught up on the reading and some of the stuff especially in the forerunner books has me very excited.
In the books they have given a brief description of him. In the games however I think Bungie chose not to show his face so that people feel like they are the Master Chief. I would rather not see his face though, keeps the mystery and the character intact.
343i will only make Halo games, hence the name 343i.
May not look as good as PC....but is still friggin' gorgeous.
I'm sure Bungie has their reasons, other publishers may not be able to give Bungie what they want especially when it comes to resources. I'm not a fan of Activision but I think many contract are similar to this one in the video games industry. And yet Bungie is able to own the IP which is great.
You get accepted yet?
And yeah, gaf is definitely a better community to discuss games and such. I'll stop by here every once in a while as its a nice place to see news, but then again gaf is probably the best source for gaming news as well lol.
