i played orange box on ps3 and was one of my happiest gaming experiences ever, i do get the comparisons with the resistance series though. I agree that HL2 is far superior but the resistance games, at times, capture something of the atmosphere I loved in HL2.

Immersive. atmospheric. lots of variety...it was one of the last best adventure/shooting games before the whole multiplayer rubbish with 5 hour gimped single player took over....fantastic game...the resistance games are pretty good and have their moments too
fair honest opinion. I'm new to GT and don't know much about cars but am finding it much easier than the guy that wrote the article. have won a few races fairly easily at beginner level, although my attempt at nascar was a fail and a race with a bunch of camper vans doing about 5 mph also proved frustrating, just takes a bit more application i suppose, it's not hard to look up some tips online after all. so far , very enjoyable, not hooked yet but i'm not in a rush.

Resi evil 5 (wtf!), grand theft auto 4, and the worst game i have played this gen which is heavy rain, i'm sorry i know many of you loved it, I fucking hated it
king i think people are just envious of your christmas tree (is it pretty) i hope you enjoy both your controllers. i won't get a kinect because i haven't got a 360, but i might pick a move or two in the future. It seems we have two decent consoles that are neck and neck this gen, it's good for competition and us the gamers etc etc. oh and theres the console for kids and girlfriends too but we wont mention that (shudders)

I agree respect to HHG , he gets FAR too much hate on this site and yet he is, like us, a gamer, he loves video games, he is excited about games, he is passionate and enthusiastic about what he does. He is NOT Kotick or Patcher and any of those cynical capitalist types and he is head and shoulders above your average flame baiting hit seeking fan boy blogger. And he isn't some smug uni grad journalist geek type...we need to stop giving the guy such a hard time.
